Did you get the plat though? Like I said at the end of the video, I think you will have a great time if you just do the dlc, play the events etc with friends and ignore the main quest, it’s shocking

Spare a thought for us who went for the plat on day one. Yeah it was quiet without NPCs but playing with a few mates in the Fallout world and building our own bases was fantastic. The best memories I have of that game were checking out other people's bases and market shops.

it always amazes me to see how different each person s perception of a game varies. i played at launched and put the game down for so long. i came back to it when both factions were added and i had nothing else but fun honestly. i have the occasional crash still, usually once per play sessions. the factions, vault 76 and the purveyor makes at least 4 free fast travel points without counting the camps of your party members which, i think, is important to mention. plus, the fact that you don t have to know or directly interact with anybody to join a party. i personally enjoyed exploring and learning about all the different new mechanics. i m glad that you came to enjoy yourself at least a little in the end because i can t say that i relate at all with your experience.

so true! I have actually played this game for another 20 hours since this video, just jumping in with friends and doing the DLC stuff. I think all of that is actually really fun. Especially when you get to level 100+ and have more variety for your builds. Like i said though, the platinum trophy forces you to play basically 'the launch' version of the game which is still just awful ha

The 50 mods trophy is really easy to do: just add/remove a colour mod to the baseball bat 50 times. All you need is 150 wood.

Got the Platinum for Fallout 76 a couple months back, I also did all the DLC's it was rough but I did enjoy it. It was my first fallout game ever, I'm thinking of getting Fallout 4's Plat sometime in the future. Great video mate!

@@PlatinumBro The DLC is very grindy especially when you're going for the trophy Troglodiced. But if you were lucky enough to get the Auto axe from the atomic shop a few weeks back that grind time is like cut down to barely anything. Good luck with the DLC's!!

It was rough at first but after 4 days im already level 80 with a well built chainsaw melee character. obliterating everything. do events- people will carry you and eventually youll be strong enough to carry other people. storage is a MAJOR problem though. 40% of the game is item management lol .

That sounds like such a fun build! Kinda wish I went for a melee build but never mind. Tbf I have power Armour that adds about 110 to carry capacity that does help a lot. It I prefer to play without it really

@@PlatinumBro yup I def feel the same. Using power armor felt like I'd need an additional finite resource to keep in mind i.e. the fuel cells. Thats the whole reason I chose melee so I wont need bullets lol. Just tryin to get the plat and 100% if possible then move on to another game.

Played it at launch on Ps4 and felt betrayed by Bethesda. See it on a Steam sale years later and bought it on a whim for £8 Been playing little under two months, clocked 500 hours have every achievement on Steam. Best £8 I've spent on a Steam sale ever.

i don’t really get why your so fixated on paying for fast travel. The most you’d have to pay would be 50 (if you’re going all the way across the map), and caps are very easy to make in this game

Because it makes it really hard at the beginning and it’s not in any other fallout game in the series. Paying for fast travel wasn’t added to this game for the benefit of the gamer.

I’ve got all the achievements on this including DLC and I think it is just awful. It’s not a fallout game at all, just a coop RPG it should’ve been its own IP. Got carried through most of the DLC achievements as I couldn’t be arsed grinding for the autoaxe and a good flame weapon 😂

The game does NOT constantly have crashing! I’ve been playing since day one on ps4 and now on ps5. There are issues but not ALL the time like people say. I also got the platinum in this game within the first couple months. I’m just shy of level 1000. Haters will had this game no matter what. It’s not a game for people who want their hands to be held or story time. You get treated like an adult taking on adulthood.

Well I suppose ‘constantly’ is a subjective term. I would say over the 70 hours I played it. It crashed about 50 times. So not constant but often enough to feel like it was a problem. Haters will hate this game no matter what, I agree. However I wouldn’t say I fall into that category. I gave this game a lot of compliments but ultimately it does fall flat with too many issues. Interesting what you said about adults taking on adulthood because I almost wrote something about that in the script ha

My man, I have 5k hrs in fo76 across ps4 and ps5 and it crashes at least once a day, often multiple times during a session, for absolutely any reason, and it’s the most frustrating thing about the game. Fast travel to nuka world, crash. Do titan boss, half way through. freeze. Sat at your camp doing nothing, crash. It’s my all time favourite game (hence the 5k hrs) but the crashing does make me want to stab someone. It has improved over the years but at its core it’s a wreck. Every update season, what happens, unstable servers for weeks, hot patches to correct stuff that got broken in the new patch it is a never ending cycle. All that said, I love the game cos when it works, it is great. But on my crash reports thing on my ps5 I can endlessly scroll and it is only fo76 and sometimes fo4 on there, no other game has ever crashed on my ps5.

Fallout 4 has crashed more for me. Also, The franchise just happened so the game has been hitting pretty hard. Probably harder than its release since there are lots of new players and returning. Its not rocket science. The only server based games I play are 76 and dead by daylight. Those games are always going to be more problematic based on what information has to be loaded. Its an open world Rpg. Its considered MMO even.
