He's also been uploading on his Warcraft Lore channel quite a bit and he puts a lot of quality into those as well. Since Blizz sponsors some of his videos directly and his Wow channel is bigger it still has to be his main focus for now. I do think this is his passion project though and if it starts paying the bills I could see this getting more frequent uploads.

There was honestly a time, back in the early-to-mid 2000s when it kinda felt like the Inquisitors, not the Space Marines, were becoming the poster boys for 40k. Three codices, tons of new models (including their chamber militants), great novels, and a tabletop game in 54mm specifically about them. It was fucking awesome. I recommend "The Thorians" sourcebook, which depicts a cooler origin of the inquisitors than the retconned version from the Horus Heresy novels, imho.

If Note about Ordo Xenos: They are not purely about killing all Xenos. They are about removing them as a threat. There are many Xenos worlds in the imperium that are left alone and actively traded with because they were deemed a non-threat and it just wasn't worth wiping them out.

Corteaz tends to be one of the more reserved and head on straight puritans out there, and from a lore perspective... yeah, absolutely right. Chaos stuff is VERY corruptive and it has been shown multiple times that trying to use the tools of the enemy against it doesnt work, short of someone being possessed and exorcising the daemon - which is still a risky and usually considered radical process. Daemon Hosts, Chaos Weapons, Chaos Artifacts, all that bad juju corrupts the user eventually. It's guys like Karamazov and his stupid throne that make things harder. That, and people who go too far with exterminatus like Kryptman. What Platinum did a good job of explaining here is that for Inquisitors, using an Exterminatus is not something that is done lightly. As for Radicals in a Xenos Sense, that tends to be less corruptive in the sense of the tools, and more the Imperium's mostly justified literal Xenopobia. Not that this doesn't stop SOME Inquisitors, say, trying to tame and control Tyranids and Orks - something even other radical philosiphies can consider insane. And Platinum barely scratched the surface when it comes to Philosiphies. There's a number of Inquisitorial philosiphies that cross the Ordos, some even covering Puritan AND Radical sides. But I'm not going to ramble on about that, this video is long enough. In short, if you want a deeper dive regarding the Inquisition that expands on what Platinum mentioned, I'd recommend PancreasNoWork.

Platinum I am really big WH40k lore fan, and I enjoy your videos. Yet there is 1 simple thing why your WH40k videos dont have enough views yet. Your vids are the surface of WH40k lore and targeted to the audience that dont know much about WH40k. There are a lot of channels who covered the basic WH40k lore long ago with a good amount of quality. So you have 2 options here You either continue to cover the basic stuff and slowly grow your own audience of WH40k, or you should make deep dive into WH40k universe and discuss something that holds attentions of oldies. Return of the Lion, his possible encounter with Guilliman, Belisarius Cawl plans for the future of Imperium.... Either way keep it up, and enjoy the lore.

There are some things I think could have been included without making the video too long or cumbersome: - How Inquisitors take on apprentices called Interrogators and Confessors, learning by doing on the job. - The Inquisitorial Rosette, the physical symbol of their office that allows them to do all these things, like also taking over basically any imperial starship to take them anywhere. - How Inquisitors in a local sector or subsector tend to organize into local councils called conclaves or synods, that try to coordinate their work there, and discuss matters such as a potential exterminatus, etc., or also decide if someone needs to be branded a heretic. - That time Kryptmann redirected an ork Waaagh!! and a Tyranid hive fleet into each other, hoping they would annihilate each other, not realizing that they would just make each other stronger, and when one of them finally wins, they'll be an EVEN BIGGER problem, lol. - The Inquisitorial Blackships and Stormtroopers. Their "in-house" forces for when they don't have their Chambers Militant or seconded imperial Guard forces available. - Okay, probably best to cut it off there, as I said, to not make it too lengthy.
