I can STILL find this flavored ale in some isolated Louisiana beer outlets.

I was in college around the time SA was just a few years out, and it was pretty easy to market to a crowd whose options were bud, miller, coors, or even worse. I really fell in love with their cherry wheat and cranberry lambic. It may not be the pinnacle but it saved us from drinking a lot of garbage back then.

I remember when I start bartending in the early to mid 90's. I worked in places that had 6-8 beers and that was it.
