I always thought the platypus was a marsupial, because marsupial have a stomach pouch,as with kangaroo , and I figured this unique characteristic that platypus have of a duck like bill with webbed feet and being covered with fur that looks like beaver fur , I always thought this was characteristics of a marsupial like a kangaroo ?
