Play 5 String bass with high B or C string? 4-19-24

Never been a B string fan. I'm actually thinking of converting a fiver to a high C.

I stick with high c tuming on 5 string...but it's all about what sound you feel

Hey Bill, thx for the comment and I agree with you if I'm just playing for fun or creating new music but soon I'm going to be using the 5 to make cover versions of hit songs so to read the chord charts (or whatever they are called) , I'm going back to the high B string to make it less work. Thanks for your input!
