I sorta can, only issue is they all break canon Either significant timeline changes would hafta be made, or the most plausible (Sonic following Shadow to *his* Whitespace) don’t make enough sense (since the new cutscene reiterated that Sonic *does* have a sense of Agency in Generations) The best outcome (my limited elderly-kid imagination can concoct) with the least canon-break and/or character assassination is if Maria survived and grew up with Sonic just happening to meet her Likely some fairly mid-life lady he saves during an Eggman attack who gives an earnest and thorough thank you to him and Sonic insisting it’s just what he does or something to that affect Or not. Idk. I’m just a 17y kid 🤷

It couldn't be that hard to mod Sonic into Shadow Generations. Shadow Generations uses the same system as Sonic Generations, so it's probably the same modding process, and since Sonic already has animations for Sonic Generations, it's as simple as moving him into Shadow Generations. When I got Shadow Generations, I got the Switch version, even though I own Sonic Generations on PC, I wanted to make it so my son could play it on the go, plus he doesn't play much on the PC, as he hasn't touched Sonic Superstars in months, and only made it to the start of act 3
