You can also run mods in odamex. Just place the iwad in the right folder and then select the mod wad in the file selector.

Great video. On the Doom 64 Mod there's a bug. When you get the shotgun, it dissapear as soon as you shoot the first cartridge. What a pity!

i installed prboom+, put my doom.wad on some folder, try to open it, but it closes right on boot. What's wrong? i just want vanilla doom, the guide says prboom is the easiest one to setup... do i need more files than the WAD? does it need to be on the internal memory? is my WAD somehow corrupt or wrong? plz help

might be an issue with your retail WADs. Try launching PrBoom+Mods and navigate to your iwads folder, and booting them up directly (doom.wad, doom2.wad, and so on). If they don't boot, they're the issue. If they do boot, then it might be the .doom files, I would double-check them to make sure they're pointing to the right directories (iwads and .mods).
