ty for this exercise. my hand often gets tired due to the pressure. another obstacle im facing is wrist pains when playing barre chords. experienced guitarists have told me its just muscle fatigue and it will go away with practice, but to me it feels different. its a sharp pain that quickly intensifies, like pinching a nerve. hopefully someone knows what im talking about and can share their experience

Listen to your hands; look at what your doing when you feel that sharp pain so you know what causes it. Then try to replace it with a 'technique' that doesn't hurt your hand. I don't know enough about your issue so I can only give you some general advice. Glenn

Hello, thank you for the video! I have a doubt/ video suggestion: I play guitar for a while now and I still can't do a perfect bar for Fmin, Gmin...(Em shape) Always letting the G string fail. So I only press E B G, is it acceptable? I simply can't make all notes sound perfect with a bar.

I made a video about improving your Barre Chords. Check it out, maybe it helps.

Hi, thank you for a very usefull video. Could you please extend the explentation to barre chords? I have learned that you have to not press the index finger hard, but kinda lean the weight of your hand on the neck to create the pressure, therefor using less stress. the thing is, after alot of practice I still find it very painful to play through the CAGED system for more than few minuts. The tension is very noticable. What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem. I have been experimenting with playing part of the barre chord at times, releasing the tension on various fingers and creating more interesting patterns. No more time for writing, it is time for me to practice.
