Yes that is very true. The herbivores seem to always be put on the sideline. I mean, I like playing as as carnivore too, but herbivores are just as fun the play as.

A playable creature that evolved on an island with no natural predators, now being dropped on an island with predators everywhere. What I wanna know is how they plan to make the Dodo truly viable. It won't be fun to play if it's so easily picked off like in every other game and irl, so I wonder what stats they're going to beef up so it _actually_ stands a chance.

I love that Maip has a separate gait for its run. It’s always bugged me when the “run” is just a faster walk. The dodo looks cute, and I like small/medium creatures, so I’m looking forward to it.

I think the broadcast uses American elk sounds, which makes it sound bloody haunting. Makes sense for the Freddy Kruegers of theropod groups. Just imagine hearing that screech/wail in the woods.

For me, when it comes to Maip, it's not the calls that are the creepiest thing about it but the animations that accompany the calls. The way it shakes/trembles during the broadcast and the 3 call? It makes it seem like it's so enraged it can't contain itself and it's so creepy to me

No, that sound isn’t a wendigo…it’s an elk. Elk sounds are one of the most popular “creepy” or “horror” effect sounds used in pop culture. I do really like how they used the sound for the Dino!
