As a burn liker, I think Boltwave slots in for Skewer the Critics and for some spice have the energy raptor slot in for Riftbolt. I believe this tech makes the deck marginally faster since burn can finally beat the 3 CMC allegations, however Chalice exists. Will need to test it out

20:50 hydra with scales and fetchland would be 2>5>11, whenever you would double you add an extra one too

With one Hardened Scales out, Mossborn Hydra starts as a 2/2, then becomes a 5/5, 11/11, 23/23. With 2 Scales, the progression is 3/3, 8/8, 18/18, 38/38

Leyline axe + Javier was the first thing I thought of but metalwork colossus is sick! OOH! Spike! Lost Jitte for T2 on the Axe + Fervent line? Double strike would generate 2x counters and with the 3 modes available seems NASTY

I think the borderposts are useful to turn on colossus fast enough, at least based on some other colossus lists I’ve tried. I’ve tinkered with some restore balance cascade lists that also have a colossus package.

Personally think Sire will become stample. It's got almost everything ive wanted in an eldrazi, its 7 colorless which as a tron player is just, yes. It's staying power with ward, it has reach to block slickshot, guide of souls, frog and Murktide etc. It's got Lifelink to compensate for the 4 ring we all love (till they get banned, rip). It also dodges the ever annoying problem (due to vigilance) with wurmcoil of either attacking or leaving to block and/or people killing the creature battling the wurmcoil to deny lifegain due to trample. It's also an eldrazi so Cavern of souls goes harder.

Hydra under Scales goes 2/2 into 5/5 into 11/11 into 23/23 which means it one shots with fetch + any other land drop

Spike you should highly consider spending time brewing in standard - there’s a lot of potential there and with 2 RCQ seasons coming people are going to be focused on it more

I think Mischievous Mystic should be included in the talk about Kellan bringing Faeries back, it's a (human) Wizard that creates a 1/1 Faerie each time you draw your second card for turn. Combining this with some instant speed cantrips and Mishra's Bauble will let you have the chance to trigger it on either/both player's turn. But considering how Emrakul's Messenger, as far as I'm aware of, as seen zero play, Mystic is probably going to be the same. I'm just coping, but I wanna use my Anime art Spellstutter Sprites I bought like 2 years ago, but alas no one wants to play Pauper.

I love Metalwork Colossus; last I brewed with it was in a R/B Goblin Engineer build (Along side Trash for Treasure and The Cauldron of Eternity). With Excalibur being released, I wonder if it'll be worth brewing in U/W for Stoneforge Mystic and Anchor to Reality.
