@@malkuth4670 Never knew the name. Apparently the game's been updated recently with some visual tweaks and audio edits. I guess since it's gonna be on the Playdate Catalogue it needed some updates!

When you say sideloaded. Did you crack the game? Or did you pay for it?

You...don't know what sideloading is it seems. No, the game is not cracked or pirated. On the Panic Playdate, you can download games on itch.io (either for free or by donating some money to the dev), then upload the zip file of your downloaded game to your official Panic Playdate account; this is called sideloading. This is an older build of the game Root Bear, which was free at the time on itch.io. It's now an official part of Panic's catalogue function, so you can either buy the latest version through them or through itch.io still (it's now a paid game). There's now a white flash when you overfill the cup, various cup sizes and shapes (that sounds so wrong lmao), no Hoovy scream, and a high-score function. The catalogue version also automatically updates iirc- and the game now also takes advantage of the clock, the bears were in Christmas hats until today.
