I've been mostly enjoying the new Pokemon games. My sister got the double pack and I'm playing Violet. I tried Scarlett and hated having orange pants. My biggest gripe with the game is honestly the fact that you can't change out of your uniform. The pants in Violet are better, so I switched when I found out about the lack of clothing options. If I'm going to be looking at my character the whole time, I want them to look decent. The graphics/frame rate issues kind of bugged me at first, but I've been having fun and slowly stopped noticing it as much. However, when I went to fight the last Titan Pokemon, my FPS went down drastically. I hadn't had frame rate issues that bad until this point, but for some reason that area on the water had terrible FPS for me. I've collected about 200 Pokemon so far. I have 6 gym badges, all 5 Titan Pokemon defeated, and 3 Team Star bases completed. I love exploring and seeing all the Pokemon walking around. I'm hoping to catch most of the Pokemon by the end. I'm not sure if I'll try and get them all. I've never finished a Pokemon game before, so I'd be happy just to finish the main Story.

I am playing Pokemon Omega Ruby on my 3DS 😜... But now I want that Smurfs game. I thought it was probably lame, but it looks really good. I grew up playing with Smurfs and watching the cartoons. I love them. Get well soon Ircha. I have the sickness too at the moment. It's not fun.

I love that controller! I just started Violet and I’m loving it, still haven’t encountered too many problems with performance but I’m sure I will. Glad to see I’m not the only one who couldn’t get into Bayonetta. As usual great video!

I just finished pkmn violet. Be sure to play the last part of the game, that ending part is one of the best for a pkmn game. Between violet and Arceus i think the pkmn team are doing great (except graphics and technicals issues). I understand the appeal from that Smurf game (in my country it's called Shtroumph 😅). That 3D world looks definitly cozy! That p5royal controller is gorgeous 😍 I did enjoy both p5 and royal, gonna play royal again on ps5. But i'm way more into persona 3 and 4 golden, i can't wait january for their release!

Loved the video Ircha! One thing, you said you have written the reviev for pokemon with one badge left, but please, please stick to it and finish all the quests after the elite four! It changed how I viewed the game entirely, it left me with tears in my eyes. Also, I fear if you post a reviev without completing the story, people that already have finished the game wont be nice with you, and I dont want that..

Irene, the only 3d action platformer I played somewhat recently is Alice Madness Returns on Steam Deck. You are correct it's slim pickings on Switch. Have you ever tried a Switch Lite? You may like it more for handheld, I do. Playing recently on Switch- MUA 3 and Pinball FX3 as I am a semi wizard. That's about it.

I enjoyed Bayonetta 1 & 2 far more than I enjoyed Bayonetta 3. If you're not enjoying Bayonetta 3, I wouldn't force it. Try out the first game and see how you like it. The combat is better. I also picked up Smurfs for Switch physically after you mentioned it on the podcast, and I forgot to start it!

It's a shame that you didn't like Bayonetta 3! I absolutely loved it. There's so much exploration and hidden things to find, and it's the best action game I've ever played. Bayonetta 2 is still the overall best in the series, so I recommend giving that one a try if you're open to experiencing more of what Bayonetta has to offer. Obviously Bayonetta 1 would be the best starting point in terms of story, but the gameplay in Bayonetta 1 was my least favorite in the 3 games.

Ive gotten back into kingdom hearts 3 recently, never beat the main story completely, also that persona 5 controller looks sweet. I also like persona 5 but i cant get past the intro dungeon without messing up a 100% completion run. Too in depth for me

Definitely going to add Smurfs to my list to pick up. Have you tried "Kukoos: Lost Pets"? I just saw an ad for it on facebook and looked it up and it looks like it may be fun. Not sure if it's out on ps5 but it's definitely available for switch and ps4. I dont know if it will be too juvenile but it's fairly inexpensive so i may give it a try.

Persona 5 Royal is among my top 10 GREATEST GAMES OF ALL TIME! In fact for the 2010s decade, I think 2017 is the best year with games like Zelda BOTW, Persona 5, Cuphead, and Horizon Zero Dawn.

"Everything AIN'T for everybody." As a Bayonetta SUPERFAN, I'm painfully aware that her series gameplay style doesn't click with some people. Still, there are precious few strong female protagonist led franchises & with Bayo 3 being a bit of a departure in the series, I'd recommend playing Bayo 2, with it's still AWESOME visuals, easier to follow story, & more streamlined battle system, I'd still say it's MY favorite entry to date. 💃🏻🎮

If you like racing games, you should try Horizon Chase Turbo. It's basically Rad Racers for the nintendo 8 bit , the origin of racing games. It's funny to play a full 3d game with the ingénieus visual used to tricks into thinking that 2d sprites are 3d .

Playing xenoblade chronicles 2 now after completing 3 in 145 hours as my first xenoblade game. But I’m buying ‘your’ Smurfs game for my 6 year old nephew who calls me ‘uncle Mario’ because we always play on our switch together. Even if it’s only because my parents and my brother know how much of a smurfs fan I was when I was a child. 🤓

Hello, I actually agree with your Bayonetta 3 take not my fav or best. My opinion is of why Bayonetta 3 may be overly popular is Graphics perhaps? It's "new"! I purchased the dlc as well which made the game to me quite confusing and glitchey at times! I may eventually replay Bayonetta 3 but I prefer hack and slash of Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity more than Bayonetta 3. To end I am somewhat surprised to find Fire Emblem Engage glossed over not really mentioned at just recent 2022 game awards by gamers etc? I enjoy your input and views!

ahahaha god I'm glad someone mentioned smurfs .... my lil woman likes to buy odd games like snoopy on ps4 and this smurfs game on ps5 lol and when i seen her playing it i was kind of stunned how fun it looked O.o, also I've herd a lot of bad things about that new pokimans I'm not a fan of the series but my kid is and asked for it for xmas >.> which i already bought before i herd about all the glitches and stuff so hopefully its not to bad for an 11 year old ahahahaha. as always love the video ^^ have a great holiday season.

I finished Pokémon Scarlet, the way the three quest lines come together and the final quest makes it one of the best Pokémon story lines, but the crashes , bad graphics, clipping issues bugs, glitches and horrible framerate makes it probable the worst Pokémon game performance wise, so I agree bittersweet. I loved Persona 5 but not as much as Persona 4 though but still i would highly recommend it.

As much fun as I'm having with Scarlet, the experience is severely limited by how much I hate the towns and the terrible outfits you're limited to and the near complete lack of interiors. Every pokemon game feels like it takes 2-4 steps forward in some areas but then takes 2-8 steps backwards in other areas. Teralyzing is visually stupid but I enjoy the mechanic. If it weren't for the dumb 'crowns' I'd love it.
