Imagine using cheats (that Ganyu player and many other cheaters) in an already easy PVE game......big yikes.....just how much SKILL ISSUE they have? Later on these PATHETIC bunch would REEEEEEing on Twitter by twisting the truth that HoYo banned their acc for using cheats. Also big YIKES on those who defends cheating with their template phrases like "mind your own business", "who cares...they make the game easier", yada-yada-yada.

worst part is... if you have to cheat.... Just do it for real, don't use a half baked cheat that make you hit multiple times, just get an OS cheat, or a cheat to get the comp without having to do the fight.... it's ban worthy anyway... and for the argument like "Mind your own business" or "they make the game easier"... i was a bit confused at first because the ganyu charged shot with pyro, kazuha and furina buff in the team should do so much more damage. then I noticed that a charged shot should makes several more hits if it hits, so in the end the ganyus Dmg per secound was even lower than normal lol. i don't know what's more embarrassing, using a cheat to play a game for you or using a cheat and being even worse than average. I wonder how that falls under ‘they make a simple game easier’

I don’t see any problem with it unless you’re using it in co-op or trying to “flex” and be rude to people. If they do complain about getting banned though, that’s on them. If you take the choice to cheat, you should know you are gonna get the risk of being banned, that’s something all cheaters should know. Otherwise, I don’t see a problem. You’re in solo and you do big damage because of cheats? Cool, that’s fine. Yeah, it might make you seem lame for using cheats in a game like this, but if you’re not affecting anyone/anyone’s gameplay and you’re aware this is ban-worthy, then I don’t see the issue

​@GoodMorning. It'd be an issue if it involves getting any form of advantage on your own. Because when fights are made easier at higher world levels, you're making it easier to get achievements or farm materials compared to other players. It's not fair. Overall a game on a shared server should have everyone at the same advantage. People work their asses off to get to where they are. You wouldn't want someone on steroids playing the same game as others.

Totally agree with your point. But even then in single-player it just sounds pathetic to use imo. Hoyo is strict about this sort of thing, so even simply "testing" or "messing around" wouldn't work, because Genshin depends on servers FULLY. So even single-player is technically still multiplayer, just without... players So I honestly don't get the point of using cheats at all lmao. Major skill issue or? Because the whole point of the game is to, yk, play it. Build your characters, challenge yourself, etc.

the first of the two I encountered either last month or early this month was also a Xiao during a Raiden fight. He was saying something about giving him tofu and he'll one shot the boss (then just did right after saying it). Looked to have used a skill then a bunch of numbers popped up all at once and she was gone.

@@GamersInHellOnYt may need to reread the post. He said he was doing a lot of 10-15k per skill (as in multiple hits with one use). Xiao's skill only hits one per use, regardless of how many times you use it. 1 or 2 numbers is normal (anemo and swirling something) but a lot of numbers with one use is not normal. I can only speak from experience, the Xiao I saw did a bunch of anemo numbers in one go (they were all stacked on each other as if they happened so fast one after the other rather than all over the screen).

Maybe they can do something akin to the Kaveh Bug when he released, potentially deleting some interactable points or stuff from your map - but then just message HYV and you'll get it back. Saaaame. Had this exact encounter but for me it was a traveller. Dendro traveller to be specific. Did 600k on his skill and was like "I'm just a whale with great artifacts" mind you there were no dendro buffers or even electro for aggravate in the team or even Nahida, Furina or Bennett. And when I called them out they got pretty cross and started saying they could hack my account. It's been a few patches since and nothing has happened lol.

Hackers sell the cheats, and even if it happened for him to be the one who wrote his own script to mess with the game, he wouldn't be able to "hack" your account, unless you click on some shady links he could send you. Making scripts for a game and breaking somebody's login credentials require two absolutely different skills.

I once encountered a ar 18 player who apparently mailed aether. I was going to fight a pyrosvine, when he took it down in one hit. He did around 100k in ONE blow, and I was shocked. He was only at 18, and his stats were simple. Now that experience made sense.

As someone who uses these types of mods, they’re mainly harmless and only effect the user. Stupid of them to use it in co-op though since that’s the main way to get banned (edit: some are still risky in single player like dialogue skipping and changing the game speed, all cheats are best used in moderation)

They need to know your login and password to hack you. Or you need to click a link to catch up the virus. A basic co-op won't get you hacked. If you referring to old videos about Kaveh destroying smth in other worlds it was proven to be staged and impossible to do unless you already have installed special cheat programs. So don't say your login and password to anyone, change your password to smth difficult (usually with numbers, symbols and letters that don't resemble words), and don't sit on suspicious sites, don't click suspicious links and always use ad block or anti-virus while browsing on internet.

On another note, you can still instakill bosses as a team though but that's actually fun since it's everyone together. Once went into a co-op for the narwhal and by the end we were all stunned. A three phase boss melted in 3 seconds. arle, nuevi, navia and my wanderer. Fucking hilarious we did it a second time.

Genuinely wouldn't recommend using any mod in Genshin, they've banned people for all sorts of mods regardless of how "harmless" those users thought they were. That inludes skin mods, auto clickers, cutscene/dialogue skippers and many more. Just be smart and don't use mods with a game that clearly states not to use them 😂

Cheating doesn't solve the issue. The whole point of the game IS grinding. It's an open-world RPG gacha game. I've seen and played countless of grinding games, that's their gimmick. If the person doesn't want to grind, then either the game is not for them, or they need to find a more or less suitable playstyle where they can spend at least 30 minutes of the day to log in, spend resin, log off. It doesn't take that much time, and nobody is rushing them anyway. You can play the game at your own pace. And I mean, if they have the time to progress through the storyline, pull for characters, explore, then they must have time to build characters too? There's no excuse for cheating, it's called CHEATING for a reason. That, and you're risking your account getting banned, even if you are not in co-op. So is there really a point? Just play the game normally at this point. The end result is the same anyway The game has no end goal. The only goal you have is to progress through the story, explore, and constantly keep on improving your characters and account in order to beat difficult challenges and have fun. Using cheats defeats the point. What will it change if you build your characters faster? To just flex? To feel good about yourself even though you didn't put actual effort into accomplishing that goal? What's the purpose? Especially why go into co-op with cheats? To ruin the experience for others? To flex your fake damage? To defeat the bosses in mere seconds and suck the fun out of it? Literally there is NO point, and no matter how busy you are in life, cheating doesn't magically fix anything. If you're THAT busy, even if you cheat, you still don't have enough time to play the game. So then again, what's the point?

Driving also isnt against something you agreed to do and driving isnt going to get someone to take legal action against you for doing it. You can get fined for breaking Hoyoverse's TOS. i once also meet cyno doing multiple 10k normal attacks when i was helping low ar player but they said they don’t know anything about cheats when i confronted them. so i went to check on their profile, spiral abyss 12-3 36* at ar 45 but all of their characters on display is at level 50 including cyno, without artifacts and 1 star weapons 😞

I use mods for games from time to time, not Genshin tho. Like sometimes mods do make the game more convenient, like I'll use certain mods in other games to streamline the game. But Genshin is such a convenient well streamlined game already, I never saw the point in even looking for mods. Also modding to do more damage or be "better" at the game specifically is just so... why. ((Like to be clear on "I use mods", it's stuff like blocking people to the point you can't see their avatar in game anymore, or hotkeys for class/job switches because you only have so many buttons, making the chatbox less of an eyesore, that sort of thing. I feel the argument of "modding bad"/"modding good actually" is a little more nuanced than people would like to believe, but the thing is Genshin is a PvE game that already is designed to be decently playable cross-platform. With a game like theirs where sales depend on player engagement, letting people get away with cheating probably wouldn't fly well with them. Personally as far as modding the games, my rule of thumb on whether it's okay to use a mod or not is "does it make the game more fun" vs "does it make the game easier" and if it's the former cool, if it's the latter that's cheating. There's of course overlap, but to contextualize what I mean on easier, if you're not defeating enemies on your own merit alone (or with other players who are equally doing so) that would be cheating. But as a person who is disabled and finds certain gameplay UIs very grating or virtually unusable, I've seen the benefit of certain mods that simply take a game from "completely unplayable" to "about as playable as it would have been had I not had these disabilities". But at the end of the day it's not a good idea to use mods that the devs specifically disapprove of or are actively banning you for using. Let's cut morality out of the equation for a second. Mods in Genshin Impact aren't a good idea. If for no other reason, then because you don't want all your hard work to just be deleted. You can say all you want "it's only a ban worthy if I get caught" and "but they're not really watching everyone" and "but my server is more lax" until it happens to you, but best to err on the side of caution. Otherwise, I guess I hope you can live with the consequences.

I mod games where it's not against tos/it's actively encouraged. (Concerned ape made it easier to mod stardew valley by adding code that you used to have to get different mods for just to run other mods, Minecraft is constantly being modded and the mods are sometimes made into permanent fixtures) Genshin (and all hoyoverse games) modding is against tos. So it's not just unnecessary, it's a risk on a public server, whether you're single player or not.

Ganyu's charger atk has 2 stage: Stage 1 being the generic charger atk that all bow users have, and stage 2 is where her charge atk would split into two with each having different multiplier. But in this video, it is crystal clear that the Ganyu player was using cheat to clone the charge atk dmg, here's the example: The normal would be 2 different hit with 2 different multiplier (15k + 30k). But the cheater here dealt cloned dmg (15k & 15k + 30k & 30k) which is unnatural.

​@@shadowkingleo7776some assholes were going into people's worlds with a hacked kaveh (and nahida in some cases) and deleting entire assets within the world to destroy other people's games. They would delete things like the spiral abyss gate, the trees in domains, statues of the seven, waypoints, you get the idea. And because they were deleting the assets, that meant logging out and logging back in didn't work to fix it. People who were hit weren't about to do things like farm domains, fight the spiral abyss, heal at statues, teleport to specific places, etc. Hoyoverse has since then mended the games (that they were able to) and started cracking down harder on people who use cheats or mods, even cosmetic ones. The assholes that did it were using kaveh or nahida's skill to delete the items. I actually knew someone who got hit by it. This was back around 4.2 I think because people were using lyney and neuvillette to meme about it.

If the numbers are white or the Ganyu is C6 then it would probably ARCC (Aim-R Cancelling), a technique which also can be done manually or by macro including Steam pad or gamepad turbo-button. If you set display all team effects and have high settings, this usually can be seen with lots of projectiles. But from what I seen in the video seems really a cheat or mod user because the numbers are blue which elemental damage (means a charged shot or skill) and too fast/instant for elemental ARCC (Ganyu must be C6 or very laggy player).

I think I ran into a cheater once. They had Xiao at a really low level and killed a couple or so bosses way too quickly, and while yes can kill bosses like that, how it was done just didn’t look normal. I remember one was the electric cube and it even skipped the final part of the boss, so I knew they were cheating 😅

People defending the person cheating (or people who mod the game) make no sense to me. "Some people have a life" no shit. But genshin isnt a hard game. I have a lvl 70 kinich with his weapon at 60 and talents at 1. No artifacts and fucking around made him hit 25k unbuilt. Im a mobile player and fuck me if id ever cheat. I love this game. "Some people are broke." Again, bringing it back to kinich. I soend money on this game but i got him almost entirely f2p. I do have a welkin. Which, considering he ran during a time i was barely on (would jump on to claim the welkin then go, i wasnt doing my commissions,) you could argue he is equvalent (well, no but you get the jist.) "Some people dont want to build characters" Thirty minutes. It takes thirty minutes to condense resin and spend it for the day in domains or what not. The whole reason, again my kinich, isnt built is bc i havent even had that time. I waited for my day off (today) "Some people dont wanna spend thirty minutes in the game" WHATS THE POINT IN PLAYING THEN "Skin mods are fine." No. They arent. Look i want darker skinned characters or outfit variety as much as the next guy. But they're against Genshin's terms of service. Breaking that can result in your account getting banned and hoyoverse can take legal action against you if you mod your game. It doesnt matter if you are in single player or coop, you're on an international server, you can get caught. If you enjoy the game, dont risk it. Hoyo has taken legal action against leakers because of broken tos, you cannot say that it wont hit you or you wont get caught or that modding isnt like leaking. It still breaks TOS, you can still get in deep shit. Don't risk it. And finally, cheating takes all the fun out of the game. What's the point in playing if you don't get that feeling of victory? Its lazy and it leaves no room for fun or growth. And its just not worth the risk. Do better.

I personally have never used cheat, but if people use cheat for this game for fun, I can understand, bcs cheat mods sometimes produce some crazy effect, and this game is sometimes boring. Nah. My phone doesn't even show the dmg number. I won't even know who's doing the dmg and who uses MOD. All I'd know is that the bosses health bar is draining quickly. Heck, when I used other device to play the game, I'd habitually looked at the health bar than the dmg numbers showing. That's how deep the habit of playing the game for four years on a potato phone.
