I'm pretty sure Astro Bot is the game with the lowest sales that won GOTY, or at least down there. The win won't move the needle 'that much' in this case most likely, even in the West. Japan is all about mobile waifus and Nintendo, mostly first-party games... and maybe a couple third-party games, like Dragon Quest or Momotaro Dentetsu. This bodes well for Switch 2, but not so well for Playstation (though naturally, it will always do better than Xbox there).

​@@mariusamber3237 the last Weekly Famitsu Sales report showed that all of the entirety of the Top 30 best-selling games were Nintendo Switch titles, there wasn't a single PS5 or PS5, not to menton that in terms of hardware sales the Switch sold almost the exact same amount of consoles compared to last year, while the PS5 moved half the units. I don't want to sound hyperbole, but the PS5 is dead in Japan, and I don't think Monster Hunter Wild is the game that will save the PS5 in Japan, but at least Capcom is smart enough to release on PC on day one

The kickstand looks pretty much the same as the oled one, just bended backwards a bit, which you could do on the oled if you know how the hinge works.

Stand is aluminum. Cost cutting to not pop the entire thing, but still sturdy. I think it will be good. Nintendo shouldn't release a switch 1 level stand again.

Yeah. You can do a text to image generation using Ai but usually that is easy to identify because of the invisible watermark in the image as well as artifacts caused by the ai.

It just makes perfect sense for nearly all Japanese games to be made with Switch 2 in mind targeting 900p-1440p 30 fps depending on handheld and docked. They can make the PS5 versions 1800p-2160p 60 FPS.

Nintendo never had the same color of a console when changing generations, same as Sony, they know that having the same color can be confusing for costumers, making a "Switch 2" with same color and just changing logo is not enough for ppl to avoid confusion. The Switch 2 will probably come in other colors like dark blue or light grey. 2. That dock is too similar to the one of the normal Switch, they already improved it with OLED, why go back to same old design? 3. It doesnt make sense having a console that "doesnt work" when is already sealed and all, what was the point on having a console "finished" if it doesnt work? 4. If he readlly didnt want Nintendo to track him, he could have take pictures on a table, full and clear pictures without background and his hand. Is more safe and easier than holding it against a background and change all with AI.
