I see Joey having fun, I see MAB having such a good time, both respectful towards each other's talent and dedication!!! seems almost like watching two absolutely care-free children enjoying their new Christmas toys, not giving a flying fuck about the rest of the world around! Can't wait to see more, can't wait for the "Sign of The Hammer 2024" and the new record- when you are having such a great time with your fellow musicians in the band in the studio, I can't see where this can go wrong! We are most probably going to have one more beautiful record like Hail to England, Into Glory Ride, Warriors.../ Gods of War, Kings of Metal or The Triumph of Steel, showing the world who's the real epic leader of the game...One more "magic circle made by the blood of the Kings"! BRING IT OOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!! Love from Greece guys! Joey, you rule, keep it up, fuck the world!!

They can technically make the notes-per-sec _even DENSER_ ... *if ONE of them starts on the off-beat...* ...So even if they'd each be playing a 64th note (each, separately), theoretically in the combined wall-of-sound it'd be a... *128th note !! :D* Good luck with *THAT* precision tho... It's practically unachievable, unless they slow down the BPM by a factor of like 2-3. ... And *then* speed-up the recording so that it *_sounds_*_ "fast"._ .

Having moved to bass (from guitar) recently and still liking the guitar range, hence I looked into piccolo bass and I ended up here (though I do play slow). Looking at De Maio's instrument makes me think of those good old plectrum banjo, whereas I don't have the requirements Joey faces, I think that bass string spacing is too great. The issue is not that much for the right hand but for the left one, lot of people do fine, plucking with picks, finger or slapping on their five strings, it makes me wonder if manufacturer should consider normalizing the bridge string spacing to five string standard (16.5mm seems like the most common size). Not as radical as the choices Joey De Maio did but it would allow for all the common play-style on bass (some guys crush it on 6 strings with 14mm strings spacing). It feels like bass guitar were designed for giant playing the double bass, I might be fine with a bass / plectrum banjo hybrid (I suspect others too). I love the bass all fourth tuning, but I also like tuning more amenable to chord fingering, people like F A C E I can see why, I enjoy E A C E that it seems nobody uses. It really is E A E with a C string thrown in between like C G B D is C G D with a b string. It feels really like a little guitar, and there are nice chords to playing all over the neck like on banjo but the tuning is a lot more noodling friendly than say standard plectrum banjo. End of my rant, I'm not really into Manowar, though that is high quality content watched two videos in a raw.
