Blitz pool is infested with bots. And those weird lines you saw from "regs" mostly from them. Bet big in multiway pot - bot feature. For now they contstruct their ranges that way that check is strong and bet is bluff heavy, especially big sizes on early streets. So they end up in river OOP check spot value heavy. Pay attention to nicknames from not orthodoxal countries such as Chilie, Ecuador, Peru. Mostly they nicknames looks like Baloon, MatDor, Clevinchi, Unstruction.

@sergiocarrasco97628 ай бұрын
Hi Saulo. I have a doubt about your advice to bluffcatch the fish. Is it also true when they bet pot size or bigger? I mean, I'm actually overfolding vs pot bets of fishes when they B/X/B or in similar spots. Am I doing it wrong? (Im overcalling all bets less than a pot size bet).
@CancelIFR8 ай бұрын
You're right. Fish do the opposite of GTO, in most spots. The bigger the size, the less bluffs they have.

Hi nice vid as usual, how do you decide how to play medium SD value vs fish? For example in the vid you had JT on Txx and you decided to cbet small, xB Turn and call river because its highly overbluffed. But why not xB flop and keep all his weak hands which could fold vs flop cbet in his range? Thanks for clarification.
@saulocostapoker10 ай бұрын
Hey mate. That's certainly a viable option as well. I like betting the flop as it can induce some spazz raises from fish as well. But don't mind checking flop to calldown turn and river
@NoLongerGrilling10 ай бұрын
@@saulocostapokerbut isn’t inducing spazzes with mediocre holdings not very good bc it’s not a great spot to call down since they can and will also x/r barrel off their good hands like AT and also bad merges like QTo and own you that way? Ik you like to call down fish with almost ATC when they x/r but fish in this pool are mostly extremely nitty, so watch out with those plays.

@@saulocostapoker Thank you! Btw. I´ve read all your free newsletter articles and have some questions. Is there any way/place where to ask them? I am going to at least ask one of them now :) In the slowplay article you described its often better to check river oop with clear valuebet because pool overfolds, underraises and overbluffs when check to. It all makes sense but in your YT vid´s it doesn´t seem like you play like this too much. Didn´t I just pay attencion? Thank you for any info!

There's no way this guy was hoping to get a better hand to fold, and Saulo will fold his Ax/Kx/QT/JT of clubs (Given that BT is a rec he might cold-call more than solver would on the button here). Best case scenario Saulo folds A7s/A3s/33 (if he called wide preflop) and some AJ (if he didn't 3bet). Shoving AQ here as a bluff or value is awful, and it's not really close, he just happened to play vs someone that could consider folding a set

I am newly subscribed, I love your content! Did you construct your preflop charts yourself? Or did you buy them somewhere? I have watch alot of your videos these past days and I have found some free charts online. I just struggle with BB, SB BU vv early postions. The same with the last hand QQ Co vv SB, I would imagine Sb should 3bet something like A2s+ ATo+ KQo+ K9s+ Q9s+ J9+s 88+ 54s+. The same with 4bet potts I understand that you should defend hands that can realise equity, so suited shit and pairs. Sry for the long post, keep up the good work!

Welcome to the channel mate! Happy to have you on board 😀 About preflop ranges, I follow a baseline from GTO ranges and then adjust them based on my opponents tendencies. The more mistakes I expect them to make postflop, the more hands I want to get involved preflop. Have you ever checked GTO Wizard? It's an online service that offers GTO preflop ranges for free. There is a link in the description if you want to check it out
