iirc in SCP-5000 the foundation learnt of something that caused them to abandon the mission and felt that wiping out humanity was the only way. But in the story of SCP-5000 a survivor uses another SCP to reset the universe to the point before the foundation learnt of whatever it was and prevents it from happening. So basically the world is saved, but whatever they learnt is still out there.

You know what's funny, I first started watching your content around october of last year, I wasn't subcribed yet, and I wasn't planning on doing so (I subscribed probably a month later). At the beggining of the videos you kept saying "If you are not subscribed but find yourself coming back on the regular, why not, you are arleady coming back anyway", I was literally thinking to myself about that logic and I eventually was like, "Well, I certainly am coming back regularly to see if there are any new videos, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon, so I might as well". Every time I hear your say that, it makes me think about how you just slowly convinced me to subscribe with one simple phrase without being pushy, and it makes me smile and sometimes chuckle to myself thinking about the whole situation and my thought process and how it actually worked. Summary of the lore: SCP-5000 is a suit of power armor from an alternate reality. Inside the suit are the logs of what happened in the alternate reality, where the SCP Foundation suddenly turned evil and destroyed the world. In the SCP 5K game, you play in that alternate reality as soldiers working for the GOC/UIU to gather data and destroy the SCP facility you're in

If anybody is confused or wondering what is the SCP: 5K, let me break it down for you. SCP: 5K is part of a fictional organization. Known as the SCP Foundation, SCP standing for Secure, Contain and Protect. They house various anomalies and creatures that should have never existed. The most known two anomalies are SCP - 096 and SCP - 173. SCP - 173 (The Sculpture) is a Sculpture that has been graffitied on, if you come in contact with 173 you need to ensure eye contact and let other operatives see the Sculpture. One blink of an eye could make it snap your neck in an instant. SCP - 096 (The Shy Guy) is a anomaly which has a human form but stretched out. Do not loot at the anomaly, looking at it will result in it having its rage durability locked onto you, the target. Once you have seen 096's face you will never be able to live until you die from old age. He knows exactly where you are at all times. Its recontainment requires a non see-through bag ontop of his head, that will stop anyone from looking at 096. Before the bag is placed on Mobile Task Forces have something on called Scrambler Goggles. It scrambles the anomaly's face and they can properly attatch the bag onto the creatures head. In this game they are the team known as UIU. So that is a explanation. Hope this helped!

Let me explain in a better way, Scrambler Goggles were designed to fail, a Researcher created them to show the Foundation what 096 was capable of, so that he could be terminated, and the UIU are a GOI (Group Of Interest) in the SCP universe, they do not work with the Foundation and are instead considered Somewhat allies, however if Foundation threatens to harm America then they become enemies
