Honestly I almost can't believe this game exists. If I was told about a game where you collected iconic characters and *fixed your playstation*, I wouldn't have a doubt in my mind it was made as a glorified boast of all the IP's Sony can use, designed as a soulless cash grab that preys on nostalgia, but it actually feels just like a bunch of talented, passionate fans were given the funding and rights to create a tribute to their favorite games with very little interference from corporate schmucks, if any. The amount of love and detail put into this game is genuinely astounding.

@@dr.cheeze5382 Klonoa! The first game is Klonoa: Door To Phantomile while the second is Klonoa: Lunatea's Veil. Iirc the first 2.5d game, where you walk left and right but can also target stuff at the front and back. The artstyle is adorable and since it's 2.5d (pseudo 3d I suppose) the game can make Klonoa walk around a spiral walkway and have the perspective and background change accordingly while being technically a 2d platformer. Magical stuff when I was a kid. And don't get me started on the themes it touches on. I'd spoil the whole experience. If you ever do play it, just go in and have fun. There was a remaster of these 2 in a single game called the Phantasie Reverie series several years ago that is easily accessible. Highly recommend getting that for the 2 for 1 and change the settings to the classic audio.

I don’t even have a PS5, but Astro Bot game has that charm, creativity and whimsy that I love SO much! Not only does the game look fun to play, but it has ALL of the nostalgia feels with the PS characters and PS Gen consoles! ^^ I even fought back tears as I watched the ending, because it the feels hit so hard here!

I just felt a sorta pity. This was like S*ny were trying to copy what Nintendo does because it works, except they don't have enough characters of their own to pull it off, so they had to fill the game with 3rd party characters... and the ONLY ones I recognised were ones I'd played on Steam or other non-S*ny formats. It just felt like S*ny were trying to claim credit for the hard work of others and pass it off as their own... which is kinda what they've always done.
