Town of Salem is a social deduction game similar to Among us and Goose Goose Duck. Among Us/Goose Goose Duck allows you to play the game with up to 4-15 players, Town of Salem allows up to 15 players in a single game.
Like Among Us/Goose Goose Duck, you can be good or evil with factions such as Town, Mafia and Neutrals. Among/Goose Goose Duck us has 2 roles (without mods), town of salem has 33 different characters in the base game. For those that think that pipetron's advice contradicts itself sometimes... Yes. It does. Because each and every game is different, this game didn't have a jailor, and if there was an actual jailor then this strategy would've failed. It's all about playing the town right.

I was Kosovo the Necro in the second game. I wish I was like 3 seconds faster on n4. You can see I cancelled my action and I had selected the dead arso and was gonna make him douse 6, but I was just too slow that it didn't register. It would have made a fun ending to make the arso ignite himself

I think the order to get the book is: 1- Coven Leader 2- Hex Master 3- Potion Master 4- Necromancer 5- Poisoner 6- Medusa I'm not sure, but from all Pipe videos I've seen, I think this is the order.

I love how all the maf were essentially outted D2 that first game if town actually had a braincell between them and maf still won (5 and 9 from LO, consig was dead, you were confirmed a liar because spy bugged 7 if I read that will right and you claimed to have jailed 7, only takes a bit of deduction to figure out why you might've gone with 7), like if town had even half a braincell maf was screwed.

As someone who only watches the videos and doesn't play the game (I've only played the game in early stages, so early that I don't remember the year, but Coven and like half the other roles didn't exist back then), I'm confused on the PM, can someone explain why CL in the second game got screwed by saying attacked and healed? And in a previous Pipe vid I watched with Pipe Crus, PM, and Doc, how did they figure out the PM near the end of the game? Great vids btw I watch them almost everyday!

When someone says that they were attacked and healed, and nobody claims that they healed them, the assumption is that they are an evil role that has defense

Basically, there was no reason to inform the town that the CL got attacked. CL was healed by the PM, meaning that the knowledge of the attack belonged purely to the coven and the attacker. CL informing town just gave that info away. TOS is a gave that is won or lost by information. Giving away information to the opposing factions for free is an easy way to lose.

town is braindead sometimes. one time i was pmer, faked invest, a real invest outed me and i convinced mayor they were exe and then when they died still nobody bothered to hang me. at the end it was me, mayor, and another townie, i got upped but told mayor they can trust me so we hung other townie and i ended up winning lol

The one thing I don't get with some ToS players is the sheer laziness to not even fake a claim and it almost always is when they are an evil role. Yet give them investigator or some other town role and they play like they're sherlock holmes. Either be lazy all the time (regardless of role), play the game properly, or not at all. LOL
