It’s gets some hate, I don’t see why I think it’s really good especially for a console. This is by far the sim I enjoy the most. It’s the perfect amount of balance in what I look for, I racing is great just to serious for me. This game finds a really good balance in between being a full sim and a arcade game. It’s sim enough to make it feel realistic and but also kind of plug and play at the same time.

You were right about the steering delay. Unfortunately there is a good amount of input delay wit ha fanatec. Other wheels have the same issue but they seem to have different amounts of delay. hopefully it gets sorted out soon

I have been loving this game since i got it. So challenging, you can hustle but it is tough. Most of the time it wants you to play by the rules, be smooth and fast. Have had so many spins upsetting the rear end. Havent been brave enough for Bathurst, only Silverstone and now onto Career mode. Even the start of career mode is hard!

I usually really struggle with Bathurst (GT Sport), but this 'sim' taught me to drive smoothly, and that is the secret to navigate the dipper and esses, particularly. I ended up getting all three track medals there quite easily, to my astonishment

u might argue that one game simulates better than the other but that does not make a worst simulation an arcade game.. that's just a typical fanboy comment.. GT is such a big brand.. Big brands tend to have people who blindly love it or hate it.Reasonable mature people don't usually see things black or white if u know what i mean. As a whole GT sport imo is one of the best offers out there.. not the best in everything but pretty decent at simulating on what a car behaves regarding your inputs, online ranked experience in general is one of the best if not the best once u get high enough level. we should apreciate all different aproaches from all developers, we all have to gain.

It’s the ffb that’s the problem. Graphics look really good but there’s essentially no feedback through the wheel. So far the best car is the 2019 488 which has decent feedback. In comparison to the standard AC the ffb is far worse which is why people are so annoyed, especially as it’s so good on PS4 and PC.

You need to start the game with a controller, go into a session and press drive, pause the game and turn controller off, turn wheel on and sign back in and should work. I sometimes have to go into the wheel settings and back out just to refresh it and that works. Might be faster ways but this is how I’ve got the TX to work👍🏻

it's not capped at anything on PC. Only on consoles. A gtx 1070 gets stable 60fps on 1080p (epic settings) for me though. Just fyi.

TheOldMan 59 AC doesn’t use the Unreal engine, it was developed using unity which is why they can get a full 60fps on that game. You can’t even compare the two and not to mention it’s 4 years old on console.
