Playing Every Wii U Game - Xenoblade Chronicles X (#5)

A. It's always so nice to see people giving this game a complete chance. I've played this game from start to finish at least 5 times and I learn something new every single playthrough. I feel like you would've had an easier and more fun time taking full advantage of overdrive and class switching. When you change to a new class after finishing a branch, you actually "master" the ranged and melee weapon of that class and can carry those same weapons into any other class. You can also transfer all learned skills to other classes regardless of your current weapons. So, while you start off with 6 possible combinations of weapons, you can branch off into 36 possible classes by pairing different weapons. Overdrive also makes most fights in this game a joke if you know how to set it up well (the 10 chimera fight for instance can be ended in 5 seconds with any weapon with AOE arts), so level does not matter at all beyond getting new SKELLs. I would highly recommend the overdrive guide by Enel to fully comprehend it, because once you do, it fundamentally changes the way this game is played.

Ah, I didn't know switching classes carries over abilities and weapons. I thought each ability was stuck to each branch. Good to know about it now for when I play this game again

You know, I literally discovered you from Earthworm Jim cartoon clips. However, after watching this video about a game I enjoy, I'm happily subscribing and going to enjoy watching more!

Pretty interesting to see someone's impressions of this game that aren't colored by previous Xeno games. I remember this game getting flak for being so different and having a smaller emphasis on story and characters when it first came out. But I love this game, and think it's definitely up there with the best in the series. Hopefully, it convinced you to one day check out Xenoblade 1. It's truly a special game.

This video had both incredible and terrible timing. It came out right around the new DLC so everyone was talking about Xenoblade, but everyone was also PLAYING Xenoblade (including me lol) Only just now checking this video out, and its pretty good! Hope you try out the other games, they are totally worth it! I am a Xenoblade superfan though, so I will recommend the games to literally anyone.

the only zenoblade game I have ever played rented it from a library a few years ago loved it so later I got it for Christmas on 2023
