Friendly Foe is indeed such a ridiculous perk and one of the weirdest design choices in Fallout 1. It was scrapped as soon as Fallout 2 where green highlighting of allies is just a default, since it makes zero sense to have this be something that you have to spend a perk on to activate.

the shotgun is still a small gun. Big guns are like minigun, flamer, and missile launcher. All normal pistols and rifles are small guns, energy weapons are all laser and plasma pistols and rifles

Usually any quest in this game has multiple ways to complete it, or you can always just not follow through, so it's generally reasonable to accept most quests and just see where they lead you or ultimately just not pursue them if you change your mind.

This is content that YT craves. It got electrolytes! 4:22 Oh wow, that usually (and canonically) happens to Ian! And yes, you can stimpak a dog. This will be relevant... very far in the future. Mutants ARE scary in this game, especially with miniguns (they literally shred people in one turn). And this my be unironically one of hardest fights in the game due to cramped spaces and relatively high threat level, especially in that it is mid-game. Even end-game gear and few special weapons don't make it easy to win on normal difficulty with full party intact. 14:10 yep, it is literally what FO2 have hardwired into interface. In fact most perks in first game are garbage and/or bugged. 28:30 if you don't pick highest "offer", you can raise the price indefinitely. It does give you -5 karma each time you do it tho. 39:10 [insert Pet the Peepo meme]. Good job Meruru! 42:00 Dun-dun-duuuun! Welcome to the better part of the game!

if you right click you can change the fire mode of your weapons, and one of the options is reload. This can be doen out fo combat. In combat it takes 2AP, where if you open your inventory to reload it takes 4

if you like the shotgun but want more shots before relaoding, buy a a comabt shotgun. Also comabt armor will help a lot with dyign less, so would power armor. I am pretty sure one of the hub merchants sell comabt armor and/or combat shotgun if I rememebr correctly. If you want power armor, you need to get in good with the brotherhood. I recomend taking a caravan there for the extra caps
