I hope this helps me, tilting is stopping my improvement, makes it so I can't play many games, and I get mad in game which probably makes me play worse. Weird how you can be passionate really passionate, want to do something, and want to improve, but a second emotion just robs that. Makes you feel like you don't have enough passion if tilt controls you more. Thanks for another guide Coach, trying my best to be the best i can be and your vids help a lot :)
@CoachCurtis4 жыл бұрын
It's pretty crazy how powerful our emotions can be. This is why you have to take time inbetween games to mental reset, otherwise you can get yourself into sticky situations

That anger is proof of your passion.Your angry becomes you care so much about the game.Try to control your anger and turn it into a strength to improve.

I've noticed that most of the good players in the world don't tilt. Sure they don't like losing, but it's rare I see a good/pro player lose their sh!t. . They usually stay calm, and laugh it off, or roll their eyes.

Since I found your channel, I've watched your 1.5 hour vod review and why u aren't climbing video almost everyday on repeat, and I feel like I'm finally making progress to d1/masters. I've been able to replicate leads, and play consistently. Your solo queue philosophy is amazing, and you're very humble and patient. Thanks so much man.

Coach calling me out just cuz I always check my phone first thing in the morning and can't handle fruit since I was born ç_ç. I mean the reason why I am watching this video right now is cuz I m on my phone right after waking up and since Coach videos are the best way to learn, maybe I actually am being incredibly productive by watching videos first thing in the morning. And now that I think about it I usually also eat while watching videos. So yeah the 200Iq strat is to be productive while being unproductive. That is my mentality after all, be lazy and productive, by being smart and making the most out of your time in the way it would take less away from you. Conserve ur mental stamina for when u need by relaxing at the same time ur learning. That why I love Coach videos so much, they are incredibly interesting and makes us learn a lot while we don't even feel lectured or tired.

I came to this video because yesterday I promoted to gold 1 and won 2 games in gold 1 so I was at 40 lp. Then I queued up again and lost and started getting desperate because I wanted to at least get back that lp before I went to bed. I played 2 more games and lost both, and I can clearly remember a situation where I knew their jungler knew where I was and that I had low hp and I ignored the threat and died because of it. This was clearly tilt, and I went to bed frustrated and mad and wishing I’d just gone to bed. I can tell that it was all mental and I wasn’t playing to nearly the level that I should have been, as I basically gave up and went through the motions the second that something went wrong. I’m gonna keep watching your videos to help improve my mental!

I love this video, it perfectly points my toxic self centered mentality out. After I die once I always try to ff and write in chat "ff 15 pls", I literally life that mentality. I lost countless of games to this and I know it but I can't seem to fix it, no matter what after we lose just a little bit I get pretty tilted and I don't want to play the game anymore. I still climb pretty good but I think that I could climb much better if I wouldn't have such bad mentality.

I know what I am supposed to do but my hands refuse to do it. Auto attack a champion, no you should hit this minion instead. get a last hit, no you should just walk very close to it, actually land an ability, no just dash around like a chicken with its head cut off, until you have your head cut off.

@NocturnalNugget24 жыл бұрын
hey curtis a bit off topic but since this is the most recent video i figured it would be the best place to get a response anyway in your recent annie video you placed nocturne as unfavorable but not terrible. just went against a noc mid and it seemed really bad to me. annie'reksai and nocturne/wukong. my runes were DH/sorcery and i had TP he shoved early,didnt try to poke unless i stood behind the minions and ran himself oom but just finished the shove and based. this was at 4:30 after grabbing the wave under tower i decided staying wouldnt really get me much so i based roughly 8 seconds after his base with 830 gold. bought a kindlegem and returned to lane. not sure if that was the correct thing to do maybe should have stuck for revolver and tp back or just bought other items like darkseal boots and control wards perhaps even just wait for my next chance to recall. he came back with tiamat then shoved and roamed top killing our jayce. at this point i felt there was really nothing i could do and he repeatedly shoved and roamed when ult was off CD. he was 3/0 at 10 minutes one of those kills being me using never seen before micro and missing ult stun what i tried to do later was ult and just try to keep the wave where he couldnt roam without losing plates and it was somewhat successful but he would just kill tibbers if i kept him on the wave for very long. in the end jayce got fed and we managed to win with more drakes, a fed jayce and them surrendering at 21 minutes. i felt like i did what i could and my damage at the end was actually decently above everyone but jayce because of teamfights but that first 10 minutes felt like i was just letting him roam and couldnt do anything about it. if our jayce hadnt gotten fed i think we most likely would have lost because of nocturne.

I want to clarify for ppl who look at the video later (of a habit). That if you are low elo, you need to learn to play the game the correct way. If you play extrange ways you will not achieve to confuse the enemy. If you are dying and wanting to put into practice last minutes of this video, pls dont. You need to gear defensive because you dont have the hability to do it better than the enemy if you are behind (and lowelo). So always take into account your level of hability, be aware of where you are and improve from there. IS okey to suck at league not everyone born pro!.

I had problems with my internet conection for 3 days cuz of that i was afk 3-5 min evry game. I was hard tilted, but in the end of the day i improved my mentality.
@tomekl34764 жыл бұрын
The biggest problem is now becasuse of this corona my internet works like shit and i often disconnect for like a minute at the start of the game and i get so behind mid is basiclly over. I had 2 games one as zed vs sylas and i disconnected at 3-4 minutes came back around 5:30 and i was already 2 lvls behind and couldnt do shit for the entire game because a late game pick destroyed me early because he was so ahead and everything went to shit. Second one was me playing yone vs morg and i went into lane 2 minutes too late again because od dissconnect. And i solodied 2 times because i couldnt move in the middle of the lane. Then i became so tilted i just stopped playing league. Its worst when its something you have 0 control of.

I have a smurf account, Ca 75% winrate in gold, some games are truly losable. But in at least 70% of the games I do win, 1 or more people on my team wants to FF15. It's actually insane.
@changesintheweather4 жыл бұрын
One of the hardest parts of playing from behind for me is when a couple people on my team die early and then someone just starts spamming "ff at 15" at like 7 minutes. I want to be able to convince that person to keep trying rather than giving up or inting, but it seems like whenever I say something like "the game's not over yet, we just need to..." they get more tilted. There's definitely more I could be doing in terms of my play in those games but any advice on boosting teammate's mental would be appreciated

hey curtis, im a leblanc main and i was wondering if you think it’s possible for me to climb with using mainly leblanc. i’ve had people tell me she’s a bad champ for solo queue because she’s kill reliant and it’s hard for low elo players to also think about macro. i feel very comfortable using her mechanically though, thanks.
@CoachCurtis4 жыл бұрын
I think it's doable 100% but it's not particularly recommended for low elo becauase it's hard to execute due to the arams at 15 mins which LB doesn't thrive in

I go 8/2 but then i give someone 1k gold and lose the game should i deliberately avoid getting big leads early to stop this
@VigilTheProtogen4 жыл бұрын
I'm low elo but I've never heard of someone avoiding getting fed. You should continue with whatever lets you win early, learn to translate your lead to your allies, and learn to have restraint and to go for high-percentage-for-success plays. Whether you are an early game or a scaling champion, gold helps you kill opponents, take objectives, etc, if you purposefully avoid gold you will make it harder for your team to get things done, similarly the enemy will use their gold lead to win.
@CoachCurtis4 жыл бұрын
No , you need to play increasingly more careful when you are ahead that is the adaption you must make
