1:20 Can we have such interactions without me insulting? Edit: I usually dont like this type of "10 reason, why you dont climb" stuff. KZbin channels try to explain in 10 minutes, why people are hardstuck and suggest, that they will magically and automaticly climb, when they do this or that. But you go very deep, take youre time for even the smallest details and this is something I really like.

Oh wow thank you, It's sometimes good to hear this sort of thing because when I first started making this content people kept telling me noone will listen. But I personally was sick of the gimmicky stuff, and wanted to be the source of proper indepth info. So thank you for the support

@@CoachCurtis Since it isnt that 10 minutes video like "10 things, challanger do, what you dont do", it is more likely, that people gonna listen. That exercise thing is something, I really highlight, since a very few people talk about that. Sleeping, good nutrition, drinking enough water or tea, going outside on a walk or with the bike, this is so important for a good performance. Mindset, psychology, all of this come together. I realized, that Iam going to hyperfocus on certain things. And if I do this, it is coinflip if I win or loose my lane. Since Im not in control of enemy jungle ganks. Iam not away of the enemy laners danger zone. So I spend a lot of times, playing normals instead and practicing that, together with a bigger variety of champs. I need a distance between "just for fun" mode and tryhard mode. Otherwise, I keep hardstuck like a lot of people, who say, next game will be better, since they just give up control over their success.

@rickvangils1004 жыл бұрын
There could be a matchmaking element behind it which causes loss streaks after win streaks. But no doubt it's also the result of tilt. When you lose a few games you become so obsessed with winning back the LP you lost that you start making bad decisions in a desperate effort to get a lead. These can quickly snowball into more losses which causes you to tilt even more and play even worse.

I am new to this Channel, i am a d3 player. When you say “high elo” is it diamond 1 and below? Or does it start with d4? Cause all the guides i see lately are talking about “how to become a diamond player”. And the truth is, anyone who invest enough time into the game Can become diamond, to put it harshly, any idiot Can become diamond. But the real question is, how do you get out of diamond. The truth is, most people feel great by just getting diamond and then they play all kinds of champs they dont know how to play. How do i as a jungler, get my teammates ahead and how do i improove when all lanes are losing?

@@CoachCurtis No problem. I have implemented the stuff you talked about and funny enough got a Penta kill. One question I have, if you have time, is what does it take to be a pro coach. @CoachCurtis4 жыл бұрын
@@josephschulte852 Well being a 'head' coach you really do require a lot of game knowledge, more then that of a player usually. But it doesn't always have to come from being a high elo player, it can come from studying alot and watching a lot of scrims with amatuer teams etc. Usually you find atm there is a head coach and strategic coaches and even team managers. Since esports is so new there is no defined responsibilities, it really differs from org to org. You generally find there is people who are good at management stuff, and also people who focus pure strategy

Just finished the video .. I have a note recording all of your tips from the specific champions playstyle to the fundamentals . I know I said this many times but I really don't watch any other league of legends videos except yours and they really helped me and even made me confident in my ranked games . You're really awesome .. wish you have a good day :)

Thanks for this video, I was a challenger player in season 8 on NA then stopped playing until now, however I lost alot of what I had and now am diamond 2 hardstuck. But I found your videos and remembered when I was silver trying to get better at the game when I used to watch all the coaching and league improvement videos, I had a much better thing going when I was silver then when I finally get challenger where I got lazy with the learning stuff but now I will pick up the ball again thanks to you

Last season was the first season i tried solo q, and I ended gold 2 with a positive winrate and was on the way to platinum if i had more time to play. I was carrying just about every game i played and was having a ton of fun. This season I've been hard stuck gold 4 so far, with a negative winrate. I've been completely flabbergasted as to why, because last season's climb through gold was super smooth, but is extremely difficult this season. I've been so tilted as of late, blaming my team, blaming matchmaking and was on the verge of quitting because the game just wasn't fun anymore. This video really opened my eyes on the psychological aspect and how i approach the game. I realized that last season, i had no expectations and was in that "free flow" mindset you were talking about. Since i was playing platinum players last season, i came into the season with the expectations of getting through gold easily and into platinum, but when it wasn't going well at the beginning, everything just fell apart to the point where all I'm focused on is my teammates mistakes every game. This has ruined my season so far. Thanks so much for the video. It was very insightful and eye opening. I also realized that last season, i had a very "whatever happens happens" mindset which meant that i came to the conclusion that if I'm trash, so be it, but I'm trying my best regardless. This season I've come with a big ego and refuse to acknowledge that i still am trash.

This rings true for so many other players in elos similar to you Johnny, I'm sure glad that you've come to realize what is actually happening. This was the goal of the video, to make this stuff become more obvious and apparent to the average soloq player. Now that you are aware of the things holding you back, you need to now take the steps to be the free flow fun player that you were before, this starts with letting go of your ego!

Curtis just happened upon this video having never seen one of your videos before. Just wanted to say well done. Haha its funny you mentioned those things at the beginning of the video about giving yourself little breaks I implemented that a few months ago and it has honestly done me wonders for resetting between games.

Thanks for the content dude, I just discovered your channel with this video and I found it really helpful ! Although I'm a support main (girl support blahblahblah whatever), I always like to have more insight about other lanes so that I can roam and help other lanes better, and your videos do help a lot for that. I haven't been able to play for a while but since lockdown started, I was able to play more, and I also started to play while actually enjoying the game and focusing more on improvement rather than just climbing... I didn't really notice that while playing before but with your video, now that I am aware of that, I understand how I have been able to play better and actually climb while enjoying the game and it will help a lot to keep playing that way so really thanks a lot 😊

Thanks for sharing this with me Miya appreciate it :) It really is a big difference once you shift that mindset away from just focusing on LP to actual improvement and fun. Glad I could help you out by shedding a little light on the topic :)
