when using field marshal orders, particularly when assigning them a frontline, please hold shift so it actually assigns one big frontline to the entire army group instead of splitting into individual frontlines for each army in the group this is such a rookie mistake its painful to see

When countries decline a call to war from the diplomatic menu, you can instead call them in from the war menu (where you see casualties). This usually gets around the dangerous borders modifier. The only time this hasn't worked for me is if Spain joins my faction and still has the Recovering from Civil War National Spirit. Also, making marine units make naval invasions extremely easier.

Best way to form the EU is to conquer what you need before choosing the Oppose Hitler focus. 1 - Conquer the low countries, but be sure to liberate their colonies, this keeps world tension down and the UK is less likely to guarantee. 2 - Conquer France, it should really easy. 3 - Conquer Italy 4 - Choose the Oppose Hitler focus and the ones after it to become democratic. 5 - Form the EU
