Hiding Out At Home: A Virtual Northwest String Summit Filmed June 23-24, 2020 at the Blue Skye Barn in Lyons CO. In the spirit of the collaborative environment that NWSS fosters, we curated a unique part of NWSS’s popular “Kinfolk Revival Stage/Workshop Stage” sets. With the passing of Grateful Dead Lyricist Robert Hunter in 2019 we put together a Twang Is Dead Tribute set to honor his legacy.
TWANG IS DEAD: Colorado Twang meets the Funk in a new take on good old Grateful Dead Songs. Twang Is Dead features the Arthur Lee Land TRIO as house band and special guests: Jeremy Garrett, Andy Hall and Chris Pandolfi (Infamous String Dusters), Bonnie Sims (Everybody Loves An Outlaw), Andy Thorn (Leftover Salmon) Casey Russell (Magic Beans), Darren Garvey & Charlie Rose (Elephant Revival), Tyler Grant and Melissa McGinley (300 Days).
