Hi there Rex! Well that seemed to drive a lot better than I expected with those pogo stick shocks and loose surface. But the you are a great RC driver! The main thing is you had fun, good to hear you chuckling! Those figure of eights looked nice! I was impressed by the final tests around the slalom and little course, I think I'd have just span in circles Rex! 😎😎👍👍

Nice, its only when you put the camera on the ground you can see how rocky it acctually is. Would be good to see how it goes with oil shocks 👍

This was definitely my most anticipated video of REX's channel this year... and it didn't disappoint! Excited for upgrades in the suspension, both with oil shocks and improving the stroke. About the hairpins, you could try getting another differential (maybe whenever you get an MB01) and have them with different grease, such as regular Tamiya grease vs AW grease to see if that made any difference?

Man, I had a whole big comment and I must have not hit "Comment".... What's it like on carpet??? Seen a guy post a video of his BT-01 and he was having all kinds of issues, a ton of slop and tires (wheels) getting extreme toe out under power... I think maybe he built it wrong... His title was something like "Do not buy"... Well, I'll say it again, Good to see you back man!!!! Awesome video...

Some marketing guy at Tamiya just lit up and is formulating a plan right now to start pitching this was all the rally bodies on them now! LOL!! It did rather well especially with the bouncy pogo shocks on there. A little smoothness from the suspension and it would probably come alive out there and be a bit more predictable, aside from hitting the bog rocks!

Beauty. I guess both set ups have benefits? Surface seems to definitely contribute. I will like to see it with some oil dampening like you said. What about the slop factor?

Slop off road isnt a huge issue, especially at the level I’m using it, even on carpet it was barely noticeable to the handling. if one were to try and race it at a high tier I could see a problem for sure, where tenths of a second matter, but in that case this is the wrong chassis to do that with. Ive seen lots of others complain about slop but most of them havent actually done anything other than go back and forth in a straight line, again, not the car for that. With that said, im not defending the slop, it is a sloppy girl, similar to the MB-01 and I do believe thats not reasonable, it shouldnt be so sloppy period. I will get oil shocks on it soon! Lets see that carten 410 rally, you have piqued my interests
