I have been shanking and slicing balls with the driver since I started a couple of months ago. I came back to this video, and tried to emulate his swing on the range and hit 90% of my balls straight. He was totally right about how If I rotate my body the right way, the wrists will naturally fall into place

It should be noted that to have such a graceful, powerful and simply beautiful golf swing as Bobby Jones demonstrates here, the male golfer should be attired in business shirt, tie and classy pants and shoes. As another, far less recognised, golfing great Harry F Frankenberg aka Count Hillary Yogi said, ..."it is important to look good"... He was talking about the swing but never the less...

I swung best when I was very loose... The more I tried to improve my swing, the worse it got and now I find myself back to a pause to stay loose. I have to revisit this simple way of thinking about the swing. "Coaches" seem overall just do more harm than good these days.........

I watch Dechambeau share his basic swing, it is similiar with Mr. Jones, free hips turn and straigthen back leg on back swing, downswing is a mirror of it 👍... so I come back to Mr. Jones swing and watch it again, thanks for posting... 😊

Dechambeau has no idea... Jones knew the golf swing...Dechambeau knows how to take steroids and lift weights...he will never win another major, and maybe never again on tour !

I absolutely love this explanation of the forward press. Sam Snead also advised this as beginning a swing from a static position is very difficult. It does amaze me how many different ideas of what the forward press looks like or is performed...many of which are incorrect.

Bobby jones retired at age 28 in 1930
