This makes more sense to me than modern teaching! It looks effortless and stress free.

It is very different! This is what's considered a classic golf swing and a lot of the Motions are very different. It's like oil and water. What is being taught today is what's considered a modern golf swing and many of the Motions are extremely different transition is completely different the way you use your wrist is very different than the way you load and unload your hips is vitally different

Yes you can tell that Mr Jones was a fan of Joyce Wethered. Her father's book was called The Two Sides of Golf. Pretty much what is being explained by him here. I could think of worse voices to hear when playing. Haha Whoever gave this video the thumbs down is vexacious!

Joyce was a great golfer, I have all of Bobby Jones short videos, they are great. 13majors retired 28 years old and he went months between tournaments and usually won. 41% win rate.

Simply think of the trail hip twitch to start the upswing immediately followed by the lead left hip pull to start the downswing. Watch all of Bobby Jones tapes and you will see what I mean. CHEERS. DON’t WORRY: SWING HAPPY 😊🥂👍

I studied Bobby Jones' swing and tried it out for the first time today. I hit 12 fairways off the tee with combination of Driver and No 3 Hybrid club, and my iron accuracy towards greens also improved..Still, changing my swing is a progress but something clicked in my game today after watching these 8 vids and it was much easier and more enjoyable to get round the course. My pals were impressed. Huge thanks for uploading these gems. They have made a big difference in my game already..My Handicap 8.

I like the last bit about the hips clearing and left leg must be straight. He keeps it simple and correct.

“The most important thing is to never give up. With proper knowledge of your swing’s weaknesses it is simply impossible not to improve.” He didn’t say that but I do tell myself that in his voice when I’m redlining mentally haha.

Hi Everyone You need to download this video and play several times until what Bobby is saying sinks in. You have to rehearse in front of a mirror and listen slowly several times. Its magic😊

I've been a golfer, current handicap 10, for the best part of 40 years and 'shanking' the ball has always been a problem for me. It usually happens when I have been playing well and get a little loose. The tip at 2m 25, about keeping the right elbow into the side of the body is great and I have just had a session where my swing felt very compact and controlled. Fellow shankers, give it a whirl ( and stand further away from the ball ).
