I love playing with my dog. We wrestle on the ground, chase each other, play keep-away with toys. The physical and mental benefits of play are great, but so is the deep bond formed with your playmate.

Ive been watching Ido for a lot of years now doing these incredibly simple but magnificently imaginative forms of dynamic movement practice and i think he is an absolute genius!! I have never seen anyone break movement practices into such beautiful striking and effective concepts. Love it!

Start watching others… at least start watching dancers… they are years ahead of what you’ll see him doing. Don’t watch only fitness influencers, they are too east to surpass in any kind of movement.

Lot of their moves on the ground are inspired from capoeira. I'm happy for them if they enjoy but you can check out capoeira vids if you have never seen these types of move

In nature...young ones play as a form of practice or training. Like play hunting as a preparation to hunting. In humans it's like sparring in preparation for combat. Practice in preparation for performance. Play for the sake of "getting better" at playing seems pointless.

Love it. I was thinking of skateboarding and the none sense making stuff we did. Little children don´t have stuff until we bury them with it and kill the intrinsic motive to play. You are ahead of the game or the circle is closing somhow, ha!

Taller people have games to play too, like basketball. This kind of being on the ground and rolling around moves are hard on taller people’s backs. Unnatural for many of us. Don’t get me wrong I squat to a 6 inch depth and am mobile and agile even at 66. Much respect to you Ido.

Funniest thing is that you have to make a video like this. Meaning the moving and playing part in (adults) life has diminished to a narrow marginal. And we are making younger and younger adults due to our modern practices.

@ajFROMelmonte through play and experimenting perhaps (and that's your view I guess)? Why not show that, then? The message and the video content doesn't sync up in my opinion. Games and drills are different from free improvised play. We need the latter more than the former imo
