Just wanted to say if Terraria is a favorite, I'd highly recommend starbound with the frackin universe modpack on steam workshop. Space terraria with a deep dive into elder gods and forbidden knowledge.

Mr. Sym! The main room at spawn that kept saying, "This housing is not suitable" actually IS because of the platforms. Two platforms is fine, but once it's three or more, the housing becomes unsuitable, so the four platforms at the ceiling need to be reduced for the room to work! Hardcore Master mode sounds like a lot of fun. I have over 1000 hours of this game too, and that's something I plan to do one day as a fun challenge! I can't wait to see you attempt it when you do!

Would love to see Insym do a solo Terraria playthrough series next. I'm busy working all day so with the little time I do get to play it's fun to have Insym on in the background. It feels like we play together when I do that. I did the exact same thing with the 7 Days To Die series and that was fun as hell dude!

I mean this is pretty much a solo playthrough. 4 hours in and they talked to each other for maybe 20 minutes? Insym as the experienced player is just ignoring all their questions and talking to his chat. So much for helping Psycho lol

My favorite streamer/youtuber plays my favorite game of all time. wow... I'm loss for words... I haven't been this happy for several months now. It's a very similar feeling to when Insym played Subnautica for the first time. Chat, don't backseat the poor guys and let them play the best game ever made.

Only partway through the video and I'm starting to realize you have a very different playstyke that is is different from my own, and it's very agrivating to watch. Like I build a big base early with tons of differrent chests so I can keep track of everything. When my inventory is full, I teleport back and stack everything and go back down with a ear empty inventory. I also mark everything with lights so I know where I've been. I also tend to go isolated the different creeping biomes early, at least where possible.

I have never played or seen any terraria gameplay. I was a minecraft die hard fan through and through when i was younger, even when this game came out i thought "minecraft but 2D? 2D is < 3D so the game must be worse". Now I'm seeing insym play and I'm like huh this actually aint too bad, might have to try it out. Now me and my mate are gunna play through it soon cos I actually think it looks dope asf and super in depth, more-so than minecraft even. Excited to play it

It's really different from Minecraft, far more of a focus on fighting, making gear, and gathering accessories and far less of a focus on building and resource farming. I feel like Minecraft with 60-80 mods is a much fairer comparison

Current play time on terraria 1,705.5hrs... and I'm just now doing a Melee run. Also I do recommend Expert on the first playthrough yes it is a bit harder but you will learn boss mechanics much quicker. However if ur not used to games in general yes the easier settings are a good place to start.

there is a world seed that make the game harder and give you both type of curuption think the enemy hit 1.5 time harder and have more hp even befor you pick what you want to play it on

I managed to get my girlfriend to get the game and took her straight into the calamity mod on master mode. I also ONLY play on large worlds regardless of single or multiplayer. I just don't like how tiny small and medium worlds are. It seems a bit too easy to find materials and places. But maybe that's just me

eh expert is really only hard at the start, beyond that its just "dont be cocky" difficult In fact the start is unusually difficult but iirc once you get an iron set its no longer that bad.
