fun little tune we recorded one sunny afternoon while on a day off from performing at Silver Dollar City in Branson. Our first collaboration. She's amazing and is the nation Buck dancing champion. #steelpan #buckdancing #HillaryKlug

Great, reminds me of a hammered dulcimer sound. I can imagine this combination on many other songs, and throw in a penny whistle and a Bodrahn.

Beautiful music! Those two instruments together work very, very, very well! I just wish they had equalized the sounds as the steel drum sounded too low and sometimes could barely hear it.

I guess that would depend on what you're listening with, some frequencies don't carry well on some devices. It was live and just using my phone, so no EQ whatsoever. I was actually concerned about playing too loudly as my Steel pan is much louder than that fiddle.

@KentArnsbarger Thank you for your reply. I did notice that you were holding back a little. I know steel drums/pans can be loud if played hard but given the high frequencies of the violin, all which carry strong and far, the pan could have been played a little louder. That's just a respectful observation as both of you playing together was celestial! Thank you!!

I hope she is teaching others to follow in her footsteps, as it would be a shame not to forward this kind of talent! she is amazing! I would compare her brain to Einstein. Bet he couldn’t have done what she does!
