I bought it recently. Yes, it’s difficult. The oversteer, the throttle control. I play no aids. It’s very sim-like. I like how there are only 5 car setup settings. It’s all user dependent. You have to slow down into the turns and not accelerate too hard coming out. When you learn the physics, most tracks race beautifully. Especially Vegas, Kansas, and Atlanta. The apron is way too unforgiving. I agree it’s not perfect, but the game is really fun.

@@pmurphy18 I should edit this after playing it for a couple months. Or should I say "trying" to play it. The AI is awful on some tracks. They just slam their brakes heading into the turn. Also, the game just freezes all the time. It's nearly unplayable. I didn't have that problem the first couple weeks playing it.

If you have PS4 or 5 you can install the game from the disc and play it unpatched. I don't advise it 😂 shit would crash so much, pretty much anytime you finish a road course.

Why is it so dark at Bristol? I’ve watched plenty of Monster Mile races at Bristol and it’s never this dark. NASCAR 08 and 09 on PS3/xBox360 had this problem too. I don’t understand why they would make games with unrealistic lighting conditions. I hate edgy/moody lighting choices for real locations. It’s not the biggest deal for me but it is something I will always notice plus this is NASCAR not need for speed. Also the lighting at Daytona looked so much better.
