I played the old asylum exactly once, and I got so lost my team had to lead a search and rescue party on me. Good times. Never again.

Sunny Meadows is its own unique experience. I wouldn't say that it's a better version of the old Asylum since the experience is completely different.

Old Phasmo fact: when the spirit box first got a text display for responses, it would display "hurt" for a response that was actually "catch"

When DK "fixed" the problem of the Flashlight turning off when you swap it, he created another problem. If your Flashlight was already off, and you swap into it, it turns on automatically. I've been killed a few times because I was looking through my items during a hunt, and when I swapped into my Flashlight, it turned on which caused the ghost to find me.

Just about the Paralax comment, it is still possible in the latest version, you just have to stick the video camera on a tripod, you just have to then select the camera using the mouse click. You get a nice close up of the peg board if you have not picked up the tripod yet, or you can get really trippy with it. As I am newly back to Phasmo, I do not know what new version was about when you made this video though.

Regarding how people get old versions of the game, you can download versions from Steam as far back as September 14, 2020. Developers rarely remove old manifests from Steam. This probably does not include the version you played in the video if it was never uploaded to Steam.

What's that piece of equipment that shows the stick figures of ghosts? It shines a green light on the wall similar to the dots and its hand held. They really, really need to add that to the game. That's my favorite equipment piece

In my oppinion old a Asylum is way much better. It was way scarier because of the distance and the new asylum is mainly focus on gore rather than scariness... it's just a mess nothing more. If both map could still exist right now, i prefer to play the old one than the sunny meadows
