Lucky escape. A Reclining Silver strategy is quite a solid counter against 4th File Rook, always keep track of the free spaces you open up. 4:06 A better option here is to move the right Silver straight up. With your pawn move, your opponent can take your left lance by dropping their bishop to 6f (defending the lance will allow a rook & silver fork). When using the Gangi Castle, you cannot afford to let your rook to be captured. 6:35 Again, keep an eye on that back rank. Horse to 3i would've been devastating for the same reason in the aforementioned point. 7:48 Moving the Tokin to 3c would've harassed your opponent's rook and open up the 2nd file for your rook to promote. Your rook can also always retreat backwards if it's threatened by any pawn drops. 11:18 moving the gold to the right is a very bold move (great for blocking the horse), but moving it down is safer since the opponent was able to threaten to displace your silver at any time using their 2nd file pawn. 12:15 Your pawn tactics would've been a lot better here since your opponent could've heavily dented your defences with a lance drop to 6f. You're much better at recognising when you have the initiative, which is mainly how you were able to come out on top. Another great castle for a Reclining Silver strategy is the Boat Castle (Fune-Gakkoi); it's very easy & quick to set up and stops you from worrying about major piece drops on the back rank so much, at the expense of better defence overall.
