I'm glad I found your channel, I've actually binge watched a large amount of videos. I love your delivery, none of that over the top KZbin stuff. I think it's only a matter of time til your channel blows up in popularity. Very professionally done, cohesive and entertaining. It's great to go back and see games I haven't played for a bit and get a nice rundown without needing to boot them up. Thank you!

Been watching silent hill videos for 15 years and I have to say this was one of my favorites

I actually came to the stunning conclusion that the radio in most silent hill games is sort of an elaborate troll on the player i mean yeah it alerts you to the presence of hostile entities but at the same time it sure makes it easier for them to find you, I've played later games in the series and noticed baddies make a lot of noise on they're own but i will say the first game has the most unsettling atmosphere with the radio on so i tend to leave it active for the experience.

The radio only attracts enemies in Silent Hill 3.

The poem next to the piano puzzle hints at the notes that you have to play that corresponds to the piano keys. Like a capital C means play C sharp. It is a difficult puzzle and 8 yr old me had to look up the guide as well on my play through and have my piano playing brother help me.

I can certainly see how the puzzles in this one can be daunting for someone inexperienced with the game but the beauty of them is that the clues themselves definitely provide enough information to solve them if you just think about them logically and carefully.

You can save Cybil by making a potion and using it on her when you fight. This makes her vomit up a creature that was possessing her.

Sexy monster nurses show up in Silent Hill 2 (And should have STAYED in SILENT HILL 2, DAMMIT!! Stupid Homecoming!). And they're actually kinda disturbing.

Surprised by the lack of spooky mimes in a series called Silent Hill

32:35 I'm pretty sure you can hear Cheryl speak when you answer the phone in the school. Looks like you might have missed that part, cause it's not mentioned in the video. Also on an unrelated note, I never understood this logic: - Puzzles that you can solve yourself relatively easy = bad puzzles - Puzzles that you get stuck on cause you can't figure them out = good puzzles 90% of modern gamers dont have the patience nor the attention span to solve difficult puzzles on their own, so after 5 min of being stuck they just Google the solution. Yet the same people also complain when devs design puzzles specifically so the majority can complete the game without using external resources. Some of the gamer logic truly boggles the mind.

I don't want to seem like I'm an expert on the Silent Hill series because I'm not but I'm pretty sure the "snow" falling from the sky is ash. After all, the town of Silent Hill is based off a real town in Pennsylvania called Centralia that has been abandoned after there was a out of control undergound mining fire that still burns to this day. It makes sense for the story of the game as well because it symbolizes the fire Alessa was burned in.

I remember playing this game with my little brother late at night we took turns trying to solve puzzles and it was scary just wondering around silent hill only for a bubble head nurse to corner you 😂
