Playing Star Strike on the Intellivision

More gaming on the Intellivision! This time I learn how to play Star Wars, uh, I mean Star Strike, and eventually don't kill everyone through my incompetence.

My buddy in the early 80's had a Intellivision and Sub Hunt was my favorite game. I bought a Intellivision mini 4 years ago and I couldn't figure out how to play the game.

I've found some of the games tricky to figure out with instructions, if the mini didn't have instructions and all the overlays I can imagine it would be very difficult to play some games. It's taken me a while to slightly figure out a few things with Intellivision Advanced Dungeons and Dragons because I'm missing the instructions for it.
