Without him, Survival of The Fittest wouldn't exist. Nurgle is death and plague, but also life and the ability to be contend with knowing that you will one day die. Without him, the natural cycle of life and death would cease. Tzeentch is sorcery and trickery, but also innovation. Due to him, people can be cunning but there are also be people cunning enough to stop their plans. Slaanesh is pain and suffering, but also happiness and joy. If He (She? It?) is gone, all mortals would be soulless husks. The Emperor wants to destroy Chaos. If he kills the Chaos Gods, what we as a race know as "Humanity" (Caring/love, the will to fight against unwinnable odds, the ability to accept our own, inevitable deaths, innovation and intelligence, Etc) will die along with them. Therefore, the Emperor's war against the "Daemons" of Chaos is just as (If not a bigger) of a threat as Chaos itself.

In Sumerian myth, the first god, Marduk, created the world from Tiamat, the dragon of chaos. In Norse myth the world was created by Odin and the aesir from the defeated corpse of Ymir, the primordial giant, who embodied the primal forces of nature and chaos. 40Ks version of that, though not the same thematic concept, is The Emperor defeating The Void Dragon.

@@rory8182 that is true, but I think a lot of aspects key to 40k are still missing like an emphasis on ground warfare and multiple internal organizations like inquisitors. More than anything though I'd be interested in seeing a game that is more directly tied with the universe of 40k. In a similar way that hoi4 evokes WW2 with focus trees and relates to events and concepts in it, I think a stellaris variant built directly with 40k in mind and it's stories built in would be really fun, especially if it adds the 40k look. Of course, the more variable and adaptable game that stellaris is now is probably way better than a single 40k specific Sim, since it covers waymore than just 40k would. But since stellaris itself exists already, a 40k game would be neat. Maybe something like how fallen republic recreates the star wars galaxy and aesthetics. Again though this is only a high fantasy. Paradox has games that are a better use of resources than a niche game for one is that would be just an alteratio to an existing one lol. But hey, I'd still be hyped if it happened

Recently conquered several planets of an enemy empire, after the conflict ended I noticed that about 80% of its population was on these planets. Did this this week. Secured about 1/4 of the Galaxy as the Scourge (Tyranids) hit and I ramped up defenses and set chokepoints with dedicated energyweapon fleets. Just before they hit my Fortress-Systems, the awakend empire (Eldars) declare total war on me and stab me in the back as my normal Fleet is 10k and my best Fortress is around 50k. Their Invading Fleet was 330k. Filthy Xenos.

​@@Saifty Yeah that must be alot of gameplay hours. I have played 200 hours of the game myself and only finished a campaign twice. Late game just takes forever and isn't to much fun for me. Oh and this was the first video I saw of you and I just had to subscribe. Keep it up. :)

I'm playing a game with pretty much every fictional spacefaring race I could think of thrown in, and the Imperium is currently waging a campaign of genocide against the Salarians after having made an alliance with the Sith Empire. Meanwhile the Salarians found an unlikely friend and savior in the Tau and they have been fighting an on and off war of attrition for almost 50 years now. The worshippers of Tzeench were causing trouble and bullying smaller races until they met the Krogan who wiped them out in a prolonged war that left the Krogans victorious but a shell of their former might, The Worshippers of Slaanesh have allied with one of the most powerful races in the galaxy. The Jawas. (I'm serious I have no idea how their army got so large) The warriors of Khorne founded one of the first galactic federations and immediately proceeded to wage a war of faith against the Covenant. And Nurgle's blessed children are just vibing, having made an alliance with the Confederacy of Vulcan and occasionally fending off attacks by the Sisters of Battle poking at their northern territories.

IIRC, they typically prefer implementing core destabilization via cyclonic torpedo barrage. Virus bombs have a _nasty_ habit of being inherently unstable and relatively touchy to use, even by Imperial standards.

i tried to help the poor xeno children but then i realised the best was to help them is to make them human. so i re-integrated them with the soil and colonized the planet turned the world into a farm. with their bodies now part of a human I'm sure they're experiencing extreme joy

Although Imperium HAS some world braking weapons they don't actually use them very often. Exterminatus yes, but even Imperium with its million worlds is aware that life sustaining planets are rare and after a millennium you can try to terraform a exsterminatus planet (sometimes even faster) but if you destroy a planet ( Like Cadia was ) you cant re-populate. Empire is xsenophobic because its expansionist nature it comes into conflict with any other "player" who wants to take space that belongs to Human race by the will of the Emperor. Imperium Does not "seak" to eradicate all life except Human life that Necrons. Neither is eradication of sapient Xenos a thing on Empire foremost agenda. Tau were not a problem until they became a expansionist micro Empire and started to creak close to the space controlled by Humanity and even then Humanity managed to sing a "peace" deal. As long as the xseos are under regulation and are no threat to humanity they are all right. As long as they are loyal to the Imperium it is all right. AND of they have to be able to fight in melee ... very important ... Emperior cant be associated with any race that cant fight in Melee ...
