Playing the NEW Runick deck against the slowest player on DuelingBook...

Hey guys!
Today's video is a stream highlight (or lowlight, depending on who you ask) from last week, where I tried my hands at the new Runick archetype and built a pure version trying to deck the opponent out!
Unfortunately I faced a player known for playing very slow and facing a new archetype certainly did not help the pace of the match, enjoy!

This IS one of the main reasons why I stopped using dueling book People are either slow, waste time sharking on simple mistake can be fixed or trolling to get the win

We had a rule dispute and I googled the official ruling on japanese konami card database. Dude said "not clicking your virus" and forced us to wait 40 mins for a judge. Totally not deliberate trolling.

Some people are really painfully slow, I started blocking people just for how painful it was to duel them. I do start to think they only have such a rating due to how painful it is to play against them, if they really have that much experience then they should know what stuff does.

I think people playing fast is just as annoying. It's a match of Yugioh, not a 100 meter dash. To play so fast the opponent doesn't get a chance to respond to plays or make sure the gamestate is legal is just as bad as slow play.

I've been testing raiden and charge of the light brigade in the deck, does some cool plays with Geri and and if you have to make hugin you can make coral dragon into geri into baronne and do some cool plays like draw 6.

Regarding the deck, I tried a version similar to this but with the yamatako orochi to clear the emz with some synchro plays. It allows you to make chengying (that is a good interruption in this deck specifically), herald of the arc light, the psychic end punisher and more. Don't know if the pure version of runick can be the best but I think that the synchro approach is a good way to go

Hi Joshua, you should do more videos, i think a lot of ppl like it when player that consistently tops events like you provides content. Also I always thought you are outstandingly fairplay and nice. Can't remember the exact event , but for example you were on feature match and got sacked or was a good play from opponent (not sure anymore) and you laugh and seemed happier than if you'd won the match haha. Very good spirit and sportmanship , you have all my respect as a fellow yugioh modest competitive player

The sentence was clear when Runick's first turn lasted 10 minutes because of slowplaying. IRL that's supposed to be almost a whole duel since you have 3 full minutes to side and you usually side twice

Would Love to see you build Vaylantz. I know, this deck isnt as good as the other Tama - Decks but i Love going to Locals with Underdogs and surprise everyone with a strategy noone has ever read a card from. And think about we dont have MAXX c so this kind of deck is natural better in tcg than in ocg

Honestly, the only reason I go on DB is to solo test. The ladder, ranked or the casual matches, is just a fucking cesspit. Either you get a babyrager, a quitter, a bigot or an afk'er. I'll literally just sit in solo mode and do things manually so I can think about it then go play automated. There's just no point in playing DB.

Am I the only one who considered running dark world dealings in Runick? You draw and discard a quick play for your field spell to grant you more draw. Your opponents dives deeper into their deck and dumps a card from hand. I think it fit the gimmick.
