Fun fact: Both the PlayStation and SNES use the same sound chip made by sony. The SNES had a Sound processor called the SPC700 and the DSP unit called the S-DSP. Both manufacturered by Sony. And the PlayStation 1 Had a sound chip called the SPU. Also Manufactured by Sony as well.

PS1 sound chip is really good. I loved MTV Music Generator which was a pretty good musical frontend for it in a way.

You make this look fun! Nice music playing in the background and at the end. Was this made with Super MIDI Pak?

But now the real question..how does a booting ps2 sound with your your formatted audio.
@enderjed2523 Жыл бұрын
If you convert to BRR (bit rate reduced), you’d be able to compact the samples more.

Wow that makes me wonder (I'm not smart at all in this field) that's why when you put a PS1 game int he PS2 it doesn't do the full start up as that was live from the actual PS1 console.
@supermidipak Жыл бұрын
You might be onto something there but I'm not sure either. Depends on how the PS2 does PS1 emulation.

I see you "restored" your SNES with one of those clear cases from Retro Game "Restore"... I don't understand those clear cases.
