I played all the Sims games, and Sims 2 was my BABY! I LOVED that game. I loved the prosperity challenge. Prosperity challenge was amazing. I loved how in that game, you could play in one house and switch to another, and when you come back, it is exactly where you left off.

The Oldies and Jennifer Pleasants family are in the family bin ready to move in. Both run really well and look so much better, not had lag yet ( not played the Pleasants yet) but that house used to be very laggy.i had all the packs for Sims and Sims 2 but had issues. So happy to have it back, I am loving the nostalgia and it’s like having an old friend ❤

Unlike later Sims games, TS1 had only 2D isometric grid and a 3x zoom upscale. There were no days and weeks. Ages were indefinite and babies (as objects) could turn into children.

I am soooo happy they did this. I got within the hour it released. XD Sims 2 is also my absolute favorite in series. I disliked having to fight my external DVD player to play it. So having it one click and into gameplay ... I am in heaven. Sims 1, the neighborhood and more zoom in would be great. I am glad I am not the only one who enjoys the Pleasant Family and their drama. XD Right now, I am remodeling the Sims University for the twins before I dive in (my favorite thing to do for some reason). Then I will decide how that family's journey is gonna go.

@K4ylasEdits there’s a sims 3 console version for the Xbox 360. I have both versions and I think their comparable, but the console version is a bit different but you’ll get a similar experience.

I don't know if someone already said it but there is a mod called Community Time Project that makes so that when you come back from a community lot your sim will come back at the right time, just like it happens when they leave for work. Hope it helps! 😊

13 minutes - there is a mod where time will go forward. You play as the people at the community lot, then when you go back, it’s at when you left, and you play as everyone else, or time will move forward until they come back later in the day.

I had this exact problem, I had to install the c++ 2015 - 2022 drivers, the x64 AND the x84, once I did that it loaded up instantly

Sasha, there’s a mod for Sims 2 to keep the time spent on community lots synced up! Once you come back to your lot it makes you wait the hours you spent on the community lot and only then your sim returns. It’s called CJH Community Time by Chris Hatch 😊

There's actually a mod that solves the Community time problem - "Chris Hatch's Community Time". There's a mod that adds story progression too. I tried it in one neighborhood, but I prefer to play rotationally so I don't need it.

I bought the bundle yesterday, and Sims 1 doesn't launch. EA is apparently working on it because it's an issue for many people. I can't wait until it works, I want to play it again 😊 For now, I can play with Sims 2 and I love it.
