I think the way minecraft's music is written makes it sound so much nicer on an old, slightly out of tune piano than a new factory fresh grand. It's like every old piano has a story and each is unique

I don’t know why or how, but the second you started playing, my entire chest just lifted, I felt relieved, as though I a giant weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I felt for a moment that everything was alright in the world, and that everyone and everything was happy, that I was back in my room, with my Xbox 360 controller in my hand, discovering what Minecraft was for the first time again. I miss those simple days…when my mom wouldn’t let me or my brother buy the full mobile version so we would just play for hours on the lite version. Staying up late, building island houses in the water, screaming at zombies, laughing, dying, but it was so much fun. We’d wake up early the next morning and do it all again. I miss that. I hope that even in college I can still be there for my brother. Things have been hard on him, I just hope I can be a source of comfort in his life. Thank you for this. As bittersweet as it is to know an era of my life is gone, it gives me hope for more joy to find me again someday.

Dear God…I don’t think I’ve ever been hit with such a wave of emotion/nostalgia with just the first few notes of a song nearly as much as I was here. So many childhood memories of playing pocket edition with my stepsister and eventually on my own once I got my first IPad just came flooding back to me like🫰. As a kid who mainly grew up in the 2010s and was born in 2003, this really hits hard and the fact that you chose this instrument to play it on just makes it that much more beautiful

Normally my pet peeve is people not playing or singing stuff in the right key, but this is actually better than the regular version. Maybe the tuning on the piano made it that way, but even if it didn't, it still sounded better.

Oftentimes I see videos like these and the piano is detuned in a way that makes some notes sound more harsh, or some keys don’t work at all. But I love it when the piano is evenly detuned like this. In some sense, it still is in tune-relative to itself, that is.
