I recently re-upped my Selfridges yearly shipping but it was NOT that bad. I think the charge went from $60 to $100 🙄 and my minimum purchase went up to $100 ish (£100). It used to be £75 I think. But $600 is CRAZY! They are really sticking it to Australia! Insane!! Who could use that? I got the Annual Global Shipping to buy Suqqu, but I’d drop it if I had to spend that much. That’s crazy. This Tom Ford quad is why I wait for reviews on every quad before purchasing. Thank you for taking one for the team. It’s a definite pass for me, although in the end your look was beautiful. I absolutely, positively do NOT need more highlighter. Thank you so much for pointing out that this one enhances texture more than others! Now I know I’m not missing out! Whew!!

Wait!! So Selfridges wants you to pay $160.00 a year for free shipping BUT you don’t get that free shipping unless you spend $600!!!!! That is insane!!

Yup, I keep hoping for it to be a mistake… for Portugal/Spain/France is the same (95 fee + 300 £ minimum). But if I do not subscribe the fee is just 15£… so I guess I can still purchase from them, but I will not be so tempted versus buying from the brand website… Maybe they change it a bit if they see a massive difference on sales (at least beauty sales) from international costumers.

Your finished look is so pretty. I was confused when you said the Tom Ford Meteoric eyeshadow quad is new though. I looked it up online, and it was from their 2020 limited edition release. The Tom Ford website doesn’t even carry it anymore. The two new shades are Metallic Mauve and Rose Veil. I’ve seen some swatches and reviews of the new Gucci highlighters, and the Sunrise Gold has the least amount of payoff and shine out of all the colors. It’s almost like it’s a different formula than the others. I think the lilac shade would look great on you, and that shade is really beaming. I know that you should expect to get exceptional quality from luxury brands, particularly when you have to spend so much money on them. I’m blown away at how much you have to spend on makeup in Australia, and I thought the United States was bad! I’m glad you used the Westman Atelier blush in Mimi. I’ve been debating which shade to try, and now I know which color I want to get.😊

The tower 28 powder … I am trying it for the first time today, yea I am in love I wish it had come out at the beginning of summer because my currently and long term favorite powder the Kosas cloud set needs a bit more help in my summer humidity some days so depending on how it wears going into autumn and winter ( if it dries me out or not ) this may be dare I say it replacing my Kosas cloud set or at least become my holy grail for summer

Super beautiful look on you . I was surprised to see the TF quad I didn't know it released anywhere yet and yes I was excited about it and the color story looks beautiful it definitely looked darker in the promo pics but definitely having second thoughts about the quality and price of it now but it is definitely colorwise for winter up my alley kinda makes me sad . I definitely think I'm going to start being more picky with luxury eyeshadow release sense I have so much expensive eyeshadow I don't really use . I can't belive the intensitifier difference was crazy .

Thank you! Yeah it just sneakily dropped on David Jones in Aus but I couldn't find it released in any other countries yet. I think I saw it drops everywhere else on the 4th of Oct. Honestly though it is such a skip I'd recommend seeing if YSL, Cle De Peau or Chanel or Dior have something similar if you don't have anything like it. Good to know you can always rely on the intensefeyes tho! haha xx

So excited I am back in the make up game. I got my eyebrows tinted/Micro bladed…. purchased off of Fude beauty, Sephora, and finally purchased the Cle de peau pressed powder but the La prairie loose was sold out. I do remember not liking it as my sister gifted me the smaller one but thinking of trying it again SO HAPPY I finally do not have to spend 30/45 mins on build a brow every morning!!

Would you say the new Dior contour stick in 01 light is more cool toned than the milk ‘toasted’ or westman atelier ‘biscuit’ ? Cause i’m pale and cool toned and milk and westman atelier both look kinda orange on me, even though everybody says that they’re cool toned. I saw your other video about the dior contour stick and it actually looked nice. But i’m still not sure if i should buy it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have all 3 and Dior is the coolest one. On my hand looks gray, but on my face is a perfect contour, not gray at all. I love it.

Your just like me, I utterly love products. I try not to buy to much but when I do go shopping every 2 months or so I can spend up to $500 or close to it. I do love that Tom Ford eye shadow palette. I actually have very similar eye shadow's in my Mac palette. Selfridges seems to b costing a lot of money for shipping. My sister use to work there like 20 years ago but I was working on a Clarins counter at the time. But your makeup looks incredible ❤❤❤❤

If there was one thing I was looking forward to the most, it was this TF quad! Now I need to rethink it. I passed on the Gucci highlight because the description reminded me of all my least favorite highlight formulas. It's just pretty packaging but the formula...ehhh But the concealer is chef's kiss!!!

I ordered the Tower 28 pressed powder in Pallisades Pink, too… and I also looked at it when I got it and thought… did they send me the wrong color??? Same with the Pat McGrath pressed powder in pink. Both are beautiful powders… but not pink 😄

I have a couple of TF quads. I got them at a very good discount from the Cosmetics Company Store in the U.S. Theyare the wet/dry formula and they don’t impress me at all. I am glad that I didn’t pay full price. I must not be a “high end luxury” gal. 😂

The Westman Atelier foundation stick isn’t really supposed to be used like that. It was so helpful for me to watch Gucci and see how she applies it. Very sparingly, more like a concealer or to even out your base. Thanks for the review!

Love TF but not sure this quad is worth the spend - as for Selfridges, I am about done there too! They want to make min. spend criteria, but then they limit how much you can order - I also have their shipping membership and was going to get some lipsticks one day - limit three items for int’l shipping. Ok, I can understand that is based on transport regulations… until they start calling the CASE a separate item! So what, I order one refill and one case at a time??? Makes zero sense! Rather pay the shipping at other places. I think they don’t really want to bother shipping internationally and therefore don’t value foreign customers.

What bullshit from Selfridges! Sorry to hear that... This is definitely not the wet and dry formula, the wet and dry is baked gelee...it is the only formula from TF I enjoy. I have not tried the cream one, perhaps that one will be good too bit his regular eyeshadows (which is the quad you demoed here) is the only palette I have ever returned because one of the shades had a hard pan from the start.
