You mentioned binder with watercolor, why would u use this medium too? Are the effects different bc I'm guessing the colours wouldn't run into eachother. It would be rather like watered down acrylic paint? Great video, thank you ☺️

Hi, glad you liked the video. I am not sure if I understand your question fully. When I talk about binder with paints I am not talking about using a separate binder with the paint, if that is what you are asking? I am talking about the binder already in the paint. Most paint comes ready made with binder so that it will stick the pigment to the paper and keep the pigment together. With watercolour a common binder is gum arabic, with acrylics it is polymer resin. I hope that helped.

Well, different things, these ones are art in their own right but I also made digital art for my patrons with them.

Cool doodles. Interesting what you were saying about the binder. I used my Gansai Tambie watercolours the other day and they dried shiny. I quite liked it but was wondering why.

That's interesting, it could be. If you are seeing a sheen on your concentrated colours that might be it. 😃🖌🎨
