I’m an old man who is battling cancer. This song and Playing for change, are one of the best things to happen in the recent past.. I sit home most of the time because can’t speak anymore due to the cancer. Music is the best medicine for our hearts and minds. It’s certainly helping me get through my personal sense of loss and grief..I applaud all of the incredibly talented people/ musicians who have brought this about, and want you to know how much your beauty has lifted my soul and spirit..❤

@@fisch69, as I hinted at above, I love this song. The video with this cover is so good, the diversity and the contrast of the musicians. I'm sorry you must go through this battle with cancer. I pray that you win your fight. For all the many faces of us, like the people in this video, I hope we defeat cancer once and for all. When you commented, this video popped up in my messages. One of the best things I've seen in awhile!! When I watched Quest Love's Oscar winning documentary, "The Summer of Soul", I was struck by how progressive Sly and the Family Stone's band was.
