We love applying Stoic philosophy on a daily basis, but specifically applying principles to our financial independence journey. There's no one better to deliver these principles than Ryan. Enjoy!

Love how he points out the relationship between fragility and reliance on good fortune. I might have to pick up "Meditations" (Marcus Aurelius' book)

The most important thing, I feel to take from this is the lack of need to purchase possessions which indebt us. I have long been a pupil of Stoicism, and it was very helpful to me when I started my business as income was low. However, I needed little and spent little and my mortgage was very affordable with little other debt. Now, I'm making better profits but it still weighs heavily on me when I purchase items. I did buy a nice wallet for £45 (reduced from £90), and that nearly tore me apart, but I needed a new one. The eternal struggle.
