​@@Coulrophobia29 even in the context of this game alone, even going fourth, how is casting Pollywog, who will only trigger on 0 drop non creature spells, better than casting remora, which would trigger on ANY non creature spell and would have triggered many times in the game, probably drawing interaction? Speaking generally, in my experience, the frog has been severely underwhelming.

Zeb played well, but it's not particularly surprising or new to see main deck Esper cards win the game when the new Commander was never cast.

True, but that's not the point of MOK. He's there as insurance late game. Allows the deck to run some strange lines that can be recurred by escaping enchantments in the late game. The deck basically plays as though it has an underworld breach for enchantments in the command zone at all times.

This is probably "personal choice" but the deck trackers that are being used are embedded with tracking links as well. I can't open them up as a regular link in a new tab and instead have to ask it to not track me in order to open them up. If possible can you use a more user-friendly deck tracker instead?

I really wish they banned thoracle. I think it would add some more diversity to decks. feels like it doesn't matter what the commander does, just as long as it has dimir colors in it.

It's just an effective back up. Easily folds to a counter spell on the tainted/demcon.

Saw in half makes copies of broodlord with half power and copies have the cmc of the original card. Its why broodlord saw in half is such a good combo

You treat MOK as an underworld breach in the command zone. You're not always gonna play him, but when you do, it's because you're going off. I got into a couple win lines that didn't require it, so I didn't cast him. But he's still important to some of the other win lines in the deck.

Master of Keys does nothing better than any other Esper commander does. It almost never comes into play and when it does its just a "mana outlet" that doesnt win on the spot.

While you're not wrong that this deck can win without MOK easily, the point of keeping it as commander is as a backup win condition, as you can use it to escape animate dead, etc to continue thoracle win lines.

Same, it sucks ass. I hoped MOK would do some cool stuff like endlessly replay Mystic Remora, escape dress down etc. Instead it's just esper goodstuff and MOK only ever comes into play if you got infinite mana due to a diskitten line.

Pretty disappointing games, tbh. A couple of the commanders never got cast and both games ended with the same Thoracle combo line. Seems like a great video to use as support for banning Thoracle

I think Thassa's Oracle should be banned.

I agree but like this previous wave of banned cards, I don't believe it will solve the overarching problem. Thassa is the most streamlined but there is several other hold priority wincons. Also, if Thassa gets banned people will revert to lab maniac. Wincons are less of a problem vs fast mana which I agree the committee should tackle fast mana first.

Let everyone else play the format the way they want to. I'm absolutely tired of bannings. That's why I personally moved to cEDH from 60 card formats.
