The number 6 is so large because Playmobil is a German brand and we celebrate that day, it's St. Nicholas Day! Almost like a little Christmas, with some presents for the kids.

And for us Finns, it's Independence Day. On the same day, the President usually also has the Presidential Castle Festival, which is televised. But not just anyone can go there, but carefully selected people who receive an invitation. And there are also guests from other parts of the world, usually leaders and ministers from other countries. And then some public figures from right here in Finland. But at the same time, the Finnish soldiers who fell during the Second World War and the Winter War, who defended our country, are remembered here, as well as our veterans.

Any mom would take some dental floss or thread, looped through the bracelet loop, thread the beads onto the floss then pull through. Done that way, far less struggle.

I bought my kids a Playmobil advent calendar about 25 years ago. It was a Christmas scene. We still put it out every year. I still love it.

Hi Cherry! It would be one of those age appropriate things for little kids. The bracelet is hard so that when it is together very young kids cannot swallow the gems!

Thread a piece of string through the loop on the bracelet and use it to thread through the beads and charms to pull the bracelet though. That might help

The calendar was 🙂, at least better than the Cinereplica’s one ! The rabbits eye print looks like it’s rolling its eyes 🙄🐰. The basket was so cute in my opinion. The bracelet is for little kids so that’s why it’s like tiny , teeny tiny and hard to make. I love watching Cherry Wallis videos every day , I don’t want it to end !

I think the skirts should have been with the princesses, and on day 24 there could have been a sleigh that the Pegasus could have been pulling/flying so the characters could sit inside it and also a sack so the presents could be inside or it holds the gems. However, I do think a little girl would enjoy this and it’s worth the price.

My daughter and I love to watch your videos together, I discovered you as a new mother and you kept us company on many a sleepless night in the early days😂😂… now she is 5 and you are one of her favorite people to watch. Your advent series inspired me and a couple of years ago I turned a shoe organizer into an advent calendar and I fill it with different things every year, planning it and opening it with her is one of my favorite things all year. That bracelet is one of those gifts that kids can’t figure out and get frustrated with, then upset and go to their parents. Then the parents spend far too late trying to put them together after the kids go to bed, and probably a few muttered choice words.

I love that they included the set separately, and I wish Lego did that because they usually have a beautiful background, but you have to punch holes into it to get the items. I also like that it's not counted as one of the days - that'd be a cop out. This is SO cute, even with the quality control issues

It’s a very pretty calendar, of course it was worth it for the money and about the charms I do believe that it’s meant to be that the parents help to put them in and for safety it’s not easy to get them out (choking hazard) I do believe for a young kid this would be so much fun Great review Cherry!!! For the bracelet charms, you can quickly thread a string or piece of yarn through the loop at the end of the bracelet and then use the thread to pull the charm through! I hope that makes sense!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who zoned out during the opening and started to come up with funny playtime scenarios? So it goes like this. They're all introducing to each other and telling their name Princess one (gives overly complicated long name) Prince: blank look *what the...?" Princess two; double cough The others "so what's your name?" Princess 2; "my name is" coughs twice ...this goes on for a bit Prince: Actually realises princess twos name is *coughs twice* Princess one (still does not understand) Princess one & two ask for princes name Prince: "my name is, loallouoillo" Princess one: gives prince the side eye, and slides away The end I could probably come up with a scenario for the saxophone, it would be call the saxa-me-phone for starters

When you got that saxophone and you said, "It's a saxophone!", the song "Last Night I Saw Santa Claus" by New Kids On The Block popped into my mind. NKOTB is a really old popular boy band from around the late 1980s, early 1990s. I was a bit of a fan myself and I liked their music. I think I still have their cassettes. And their music can be found at youtube. :) This band eventually broke up and after that I think Take That and then Backstreet Boys came along. Although I no longer listened to or fancied these two. In my opinion, they no longer had the "something" that New Kids On The Blocks had. But if someone liked and still likes those two boy bands, then so be it. Everyone listens to that music/band what makes them happy. :)

You can easily string beads onto the bracelet if you just put a piece of dental floss (or any little string or elastic band) in the loop, fold it over and then string the beads over the floss. Have you ever done any type of needlework?

With the bracelet you should thread the hole with a sewing thread or something and bring the two sides of the sewing thread through the beads

The charms are designed so that they can't come off by accident and choke a child. If they are that hard to get on, a child's not going to be able to just pull them off and eat them, or stick them in ear/ up the nose ect .

I thought Playmobil was deliberately bigger and chunkier so that it's appropriate for little kids, all the tiny pieces seem like they're gonna be inhaled instantly. I see a few people mentioning that little kids hands will be able to put the beads on the bracelet easier, especially without longer nails... yeah, maybe, if they haven't swallowed all the charms already I guess.
