Proven by centuries of use. I was in the army wearing long boots and “portyanki” nothing is better. We were running 6-10 km with all ammunition without any problem. Socks in long boots don’t work. I also used to hunt walking and running all day long. Same military long boots with piece of cloth it worked fine.

In russian army sockets substituted portyankies (in polish onuce - pronunciation ohnootseh) in 2013. Cause we, Poles, call them ruskie (russian) onuce.

@KOMMUNYAKA.3 ай бұрын

This is what happens when you don't know how to do supply lines, you give all your soldiers the same size rag so you don't have to deal with three sizes of sock. Come on fellas, 21st century, sort yourselves out.

Partianka - if you couldn't come up with decent boots for decades. There were few socks and "kirsavoi" broke the socks very quickly. The only option was to wrap the leg in a linen cloth, without the "partianka" leg bandage, the feet were immediately blistered.

You gotta wrap them with no folds, must be tight smooth creases. Folds will cause blistering because your feet will rub against the folds.
