Edmonton Nachos should have been whistled for offsides at the very least. PLD: When that trade was announced, I was incredibly down on it. PLD has been an absolute stud this year, tons of hustle, incredible amount of grit and willingness to grind it out. Caps Locker Room: Best thing about the Caps locker room right now is all the positive words of affirmation. Fans & Injuries: Pat nails it, fans will always find something to bitch about. McDavid: If he doesn't want to get suspended, he needs to not plant the lumber into another dude's giblets. I don't hate McDavid putting lumber to a guy, but if he's gonna put it to the face, take your punishment without bitching. I'm not a fan of the 'treat stars like the NFL does'; if the NHL did that, games involving teams with top-tier elite players would have rosters reduced to a single line and half a d pair by the second period. Hard pass on that nonsense from me.
